ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਘਟਾਉਣ 'ਤੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਤਕਰਾਰ

ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਿਕਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਘਟਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵਾਂ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ, ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੂੰਦੜ, ਅਤੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂ ਡਾ. ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੀਮਾ ਨੇ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਡਟ ਕੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਐਨਕਾਊਂਟਰ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਰਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਅਣਹੋਣੀ ਵਾਪਰੀ ਤਾਂ ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਣਯੋਗ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਤਹਿਤ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਉਸੇ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਘਟਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਨਵੀਂ ਧਮਕੀ ਮੁਲਾਂਕਣ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਟਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਏਸਕੋਰਟ ਵਾਹਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਣਾਅ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਿਕ ਵੈਰ-ਵਿਰੋਧ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਨੇ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਖ਼ਤਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।
The decision to reduce the security of senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia has sparked a new controversy in Punjab politics. Former party president Sukhbir Singh Badal, along with acting president Balwinder Singh Bhundar and senior leader Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, met with Majithia and announced their steadfast support for him.

Sukhbir Singh Badal termed the decision unjust, claiming it is part of a conspiracy to target the Akali leadership. He accused the government of systematically attempting to eliminate Akali leaders, and this move is a part of that agenda.
The Punjab Police confirmed the reduction in security, stating that the decision was based on a reassessment of the threat perception. According to the police, Majithia's security has not been completely withdrawn; he still has a reduced number of security personnel and an escort vehicle.
This development has heightened tensions in the state's politics, with the opposition accusing the government of political vendetta. The Akali Dal has demanded the reinstatement of Majithia's security, asserting that ignoring the threats to his life is unacceptable.
