ਹਾਦਸਾ ਇੰਨਾ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨਾਲ ਟਕਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੀ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਫਟ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਪੇਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਿਰ ਗਿਆ। ਡੀਜੀਸੀਏ (DGCA) ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜੀਤ ਪਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ (PSO), ਇੱਕ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਸਵਾਰ ਸਨ। ਬਦਕਿਸਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਿਆ। ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਹਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜਖੜਾਉਂਦੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਇੱਕ ਜ਼ੋਰਦਾਰ ਧਮਾਕਾ ਸੁਣਿਆ।
