ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਮੱਧ ਤੇ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਮ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਠੰਢ ਪਵੇਗੀ: IMD
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ (IMD) ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ (ਦਸੰਬਰ 2025 ਤੋਂ ਫਰਵਰੀ 2026) ਲਈ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਨੁਮਾਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਆਮ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਰਹੇਗਾ। ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਹਰਿਆਣਾ, ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼, ਅਤੇ ਮੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਸਮੇਤ ਮੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ-ਪੱਛਮੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਠੰਢ ਪੈਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ। IMD ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਠੰਢ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਲਈ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਣੀ ਨੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਸਾਡੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਕੜਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਠੰਢ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ (IMD) ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਜਨਰਲ ਮ੍ਰਿਤੁੰਜਯ ਮਹਾਪਾਤਰਾ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਸਮ (December-February) ਦੌਰਾਨ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਪਮਾਨ ਆਮ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਘੱਟ (Below Normal Temperature) ਰਹੇਗਾ।
ਇਹ ਅਨੁਮਾਨ ਖਾਸ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਮੱਧ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਉੱਤਰ-ਪੱਛਮੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ, ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼, ਮੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਠੰਢ ਦੀ ਤੀਬਰਤਾ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਰਹੇਗੀ। IMD ਦਾ ਇਹ Winter Forecast ਸਾਡੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਹੈ। ਠੰਢ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ (Cold Wave) ਦੇ ਵਧਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਾ ਖਿਆਲ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਦੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਅ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।
The forecast released by the Meteorological Department has sparked a shared concern across the nation. All our families must now prepare for the intense cold ahead. The Director General of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Mrutyunjay Mohapatra, stated in an online press conference that temperatures in many parts of the country are likely to remain Below Normal Temperature during the upcoming winter season (December-February).
This Winter Forecast is particularly relevant for Central India and the adjoining North-West India regions. He mentioned that the intensity of the cold will be higher in states like Punjab and Haryana, along with parts of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra. This forecast from the IMD serves as a timely warning for our collective health and safety. Given the likelihood of an increased Cold Wave, we must all look out for one another and take the necessary steps to protect ourselves from the severity of the winter.
