ਗੋਇੰਦਵਾਲ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਫੇਲ੍ਹ: 21 ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਫੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ
ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਗੋਇੰਦਵਾਲ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਤਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੈਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾਲਾਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਬੈਰਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 21 ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਫੋਨ, 5 ਸਿਮ ਕਾਰਡ, ਚਾਰਜਰ ਅਤੇ 39 ਬੀੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੰਡਲ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕੋਲ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਵਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਥਾਣਾ ਗੋਇੰਦਵਾਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ
ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਗੋਇੰਦਵਾਲ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਦੀ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਅਣਦੇਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਬੈਰਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਚਲਾਇਆ, ਜਿਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੈਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾਲਾਤੀਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ 21 ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਫੋਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।
ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸੁਪਰੀਡੈਂਟ ਸਰਬਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਫੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ 12 ਸਮਾਰਟ ਫੋਨ ਅਤੇ 9 ਬਟਨਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ (ਕੀਪੈਡ) ਫੋਨ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਤਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ 5 ਸਿਮ ਕਾਰਡ, ਚਾਰਜਰ ਅਤੇ 39 ਬੀੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬੰਡਲ ਵੀ ਮਿਲੇ ਹਨ। ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਵਰਜਿਤ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਰਾਮਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਕੋਈ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ 'ਤੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੈਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾਲਾਤੀ ਅਕਸਰ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੀ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ, ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ 'ਤੇ ਥਾਣਾ ਗੋਇੰਦਵਾਲ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਧਾਰਾਵਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
Due to persistent neglect of security arrangements and major security negligence at Central Jail Goindwal Sahib, a large quantity of prohibited items has once again been recovered from inside the prison. Jail officials conducted search operations in various barracks, during which 21 mobile phones were recovered from prisoners (inmates) and undertrials.
According to the statement given to the police by Assistant Superintendent Sarabjit Singh, the seized mobile phonesincluded 12 smartphones and 9 keypad phones. Additionally, the search team also found 5 SIM cards, chargers, and 39 Bidi bundles. The jail administration stated that this is not the first instance of prohibited items being recovered from within the jail, which raises serious questions about the institution's security system. Inmates and undertrials frequently violate jail rules, and this is happening primarily due to the lack of adequate jail security.
In this recent case, the Goindwal police station has registered a case under relevant sections, based on the complaint by jail authorities, and has initiated further investigation.
