ਦਿੱਲੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਧੁੰਦ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ: 97 ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਰੱਦ ਅਤੇ 200 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਰੀ, ਮੁਸਾਫ਼ਰ ਹੋਏ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ
ਦਿੱਲੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਕਾਰਨ ਘੱਟ ਵਿਜ਼ੀਬਿਲਟੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਹੜਕੰਪ ਮਚਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ। ਘੱਟ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਕੁੱਲ 97 ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 48 ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ 49 ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ 200 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿੱਥੀ ਦੂਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਦੇਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲੀਆਂ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਕ DIAL ਨੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਪਰ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕਈ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੈ ਰਹੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਕਾਰਨ ਹਵਾਈ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ
ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਰਹੀ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਨੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੀਹੋਂ ਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਜ਼ੀਬਿਲਟੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਕੁੱਲ 97 ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਪਈਆਂ। ਰੱਦ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 48 ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਉਤਰਨਾ ਸੀ (arrivals) ਅਤੇ 49 ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਉਡਾਣ ਭਰਨੀ ਸੀ (departures)।
ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਰੱਦ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ 200 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਰੀ ਵੀ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਵੈੱਬਸਾਈਟ 'Flightradar24.com' ਦੇ ਅੰਕੜਿਆਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹਰ ਉਡਾਣ ਔਸਤਨ 23 ਮਿੰਟ ਦੀ ਦੇਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਮੁਸਾਫ਼ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰੀ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਘੰਟਿਆਂਬੱਧੀ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਈ।
ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਦੇਖਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਕੰਪਨੀ DIAL (ਦਿੱਲੀ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਏਅਰਪੋਰਟ ਲਿਮਟਿਡ) ਨੇ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ 'ਐਕਸ' ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਤੱਕ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਸੁਧਰ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦਾ ਇੰਦਰਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡਾ (IGIA) ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਅਸਤ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਲਗਭਗ 1,300 ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਪੈ ਰਹੀ ਠੰਢ ਅਤੇ ਧੁੰਦ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਸਗੋਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
The dense fog prevailing across North India has severely disrupted air travel services. On Sunday, due to extremely low visibility at the Delhi Airport, a total of 97 flights had to be cancelled. Among the cancelled services, 48 were incoming flights (arrivals) and 49 were scheduled to fly out from Delhi (departures).
Beyond the cancellations, more than 200 flights reported delays. According to data from the flight-tracking website 'Flightradar24.com', the average delay for departures from Delhi was approximately 23 minutes. This situation led to immense hardship for passengers at the airport, with many forced to wait for several hours.
The airport operator, DIAL (Delhi International Airport Limited), informed via the social media platform 'X' that conditions had improved by the afternoon and operations were running smoothly. It is noteworthy that Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) is the busiest in the country, managing around 1,300 flights daily. The persistent cold wave and fog over the past few days have impacted air traffic not only in Delhi but across various other parts of the country as well.
