Our Australian Punjabi news channel was invited to join the celebration of light and positivity at Diwali Mela 2024, organized at Bacchus Marsh Grammar—Woodlead Campus. It was one of the largest Diwali celebrations organized in Australia, set to spread the Diwali vibe and warmth of love. This event offered a wonderful chance to connect with loved ones and enjoy a day filled with traditional Indian delights.

Diwali Mela 2024 did not only organise a festival celebration. It created an atmosphere soaked with Indian traditional richness and Diwali spirit. From delicious food to spectacular performances, Diwali Mela made sure that everyone found something entertaining to experience. 

Food & Snacks

Our Australian Punjabi news channel noticed people enjoying a plethora of delicious foods at Diwali Mela 2024. This Diwali event was free for everyone. The objective had been to offer a fusion of warmth and festive vibe to those who wanted to celebrate Diwali in a grand way. A wide number of food stalls had been set up to sell Indian snacks and sweets. Diwali is never complete without sweets. People had been seen devouring sweets and snacks while catching up with family and friends.

This event, presented by the Aintree Multicultural Club in association with Radio Haanji 1674 AM, promises to be an unforgettable experience with mesmerizing performances, mouth-watering food, and vibrant shopping stalls. 

Electrifying Diwali Performances

This year’s attraction was the appearance of Gurshabad who drew a lot of crowd to the event. Along with the appearance, Diwali mela had oraganised a few performances that had uplifted the vibe of the event. The essence of Indian tradition and culture came to life at Diwali Mela 2024 Covered by Radio Haanji.   

Other Attractions

Toy stores and photography stalls were there at the event to keep children and attendees engaged. People loved capturing the celebration and making memories in the most traditional way. The event was held on the 26th of Oct 2024.
