ਗਾਇਕ ਜ਼ੂਬੀਨ ਗਰਗ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ
ਅਸਾਮ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੀ ਐੱਸਆਈਟੀ ਨੇ ਗਾਇਕ ਜ਼ੂਬੀਨ ਗਰਗ ਦੀ ਸਿੰਗਾਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਹੋਈ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਬੋਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਲੇਸ਼ ਬੈਸ਼ਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੱਤ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੈਂਕ ਅਕਾਊਂਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਲੇਣ-ਦੇਣਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਜ਼ੂਬੀਨ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੇ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਹੈ। ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਸ਼ਿਆਮਕਾਨੂ ਮਹੰਤਾ, ਚਚੇਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਸੰਦੀਪਨ ਗਰਗ (ਜੋ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ), ਮੈਨੇਜਰ ਸਿਧਾਰਥ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਸੰਗੀਤਕਾਰ ਸ਼ੇਖਰਜਯੋਤੀ ਗੋਸਵਾਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਇਕਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪ੍ਰਵਾ ਮਹੰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।
ਅਸਾਮ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਗਾਇਕ ਜ਼ੂਬੀਨ ਗਰਗ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਬੋਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਲੇਸ਼ ਬੈਸ਼ਿਆ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ੂਬੀਨ ਗਰਗ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਸਿੰਗਾਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈ ਜ਼ੂਬੀਨ ਗਰਗ ਦੀ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਮੌਤ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਤ ਜਣੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਅਸਾਮ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੀ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਇਨਵੈਸਟੀਗੇਸ਼ਨ ਟੀਮ (ਐੱਸਆਈਟੀ) ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੀਫ਼ ਜੂਡੀਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਮੈਜਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਟ ਕੋਰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਐੱਸਆਈਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਡੀਜੀਪੀ (ਸੀਆਈਡੀ) ਮੁਨਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਲਈ ਬੁਲਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੈਂਕ ਅਕਾਊਂਟਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕਈ ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਲੇਣ-ਦੇਣ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਣੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਲੇਣ-ਦੇਣ ਇੱਕ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਪੈਸਾ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਜ਼ੂਬੀਨ ਗਰਗ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਗਰੀਮਾ ਸੈਕੀਆ ਗਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਲੱਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਜ਼ੂਬੀਨ ਗਰਗ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ 2013 ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਾਮ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜ਼ੂਬੀਨ ਗਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਸਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਲਫਾ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਧਮਕੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਿਹੂ ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਏ ਸਨ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਐੱਸਆਈਟੀ ਨੇ ਨੌਰਥ ਈਸਟ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਫੈਸਟੀਵਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਸ਼ਿਆਮਕਾਨੂ ਮਹੰਤਾ, ਜ਼ੂਬੀਨ ਗਰਗ ਦੇ ਚਚੇਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਸਾਮ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਸੇਵਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸੰਦੀਪਨ ਗਰਗ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੈਨੇਜਰ ਸਿਧਾਰਥ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਸੰਗੀਤਕਾਰ ਸ਼ੇਖਰਜਯੋਤੀ ਗੋਸਵਾਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਇਕਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪ੍ਰਵਾ ਮਹੰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਜ਼ੂਬੀਨ ਗਰਗ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੰਗਾਪੁਰ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਾਚਟ ਟ੍ਰਿਪ 'ਤੇ ਸਨ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਸੰਦੀਪਨ ਗਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਸਾਮ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਜ਼ੂਬੀਨ ਗਰਗ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ 19 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਨੌਰਟ ਈਸਟ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਫੈਸਟੀਵਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਭੈਣ ਨੇ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਅਧੀਨ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀਆਂ ਜ਼ੂਬੀਨ ਗਰਗ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਹੋਰ ਵੇਰਵੇ ਜਾਣਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੇਗੀ।
Assam Police arrested two personal security officers of singer Zubeen Garg today in connection with his death case. These officers, Nandeswar Bora and Paresh Baishya, had been associated with Zubeen Garg for a long time. These arrests are linked to Zubeen Garg's sudden death in Singapore last month, and so far, seven people have been arrested in this Zubeen Garg death case. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Assam Police carried out this action, and the arrested officers were produced in the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, where they were remanded to five days' police custody.
SIT Chief and Special DGP (CID) Munna Prasad Gupta stated that both officers had been summoned for questioning multiple times in the past few weeks and were arrested today. He said that suspicious transactions of several lakh rupees were made through their bank accounts, which raised doubts. These transactions exceed one crore rupees and were reportedly used for social work, as Zubeen Garg had informed his wife Garima Saikia Garg. However, the police find them suspicious and believe they could be connected to Zubeen Garg's death. Both officers were attached to him by the Assam government in 2013 after ULFA issued a death threat when he performed Hindi songs during Bihu celebrations.
Prior to this, the SIT had arrested North East India Festival organizer Shyamkanu Mahanta, Zubeen Garg's cousin and Assam Police Service officer Sandipan Garg, his manager Siddharth Sharma, musician Shekharjyoti Goswami, and singer Amritprava Mahanta. All these individuals had gone to Singapore with Zubeen Garg and were with him on the yacht trip where he died. Sandipan Garg was suspended by the Assam government following his arrest. Zubeen Garg's death occurred on September 19, just a day before he was scheduled to perform at the North East India Festival. His wife and sister have demanded details on the circumstances of his death, and the case is still under investigation. These arrests mark significant progress in the Zubeen Garg death case, and the police will continue the probe for more details.
