ਸਮਾਣਾ ਹਾਦਸਾ: ਸਕੂਲੀ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ 'ਚ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ
ਸਮਾਣਾ-ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਸੜਕ 'ਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜ ਸਕੂਲੀ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਇਨੋਵਾ ਵਾਹਨ ਦੀ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਟਿੱਪਰ ਨਾਲ ਟੱਕਰ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ। ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੜਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਾਲਨ 'ਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤੀ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਸਮਾਣਾ-ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਸੜਕ 'ਤੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਏ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਨ ਗੁਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪੰਜ ਸਕੂਲੀ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਨੋਵਾ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ। ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਸਕਾਰ ਸਮਾਣਾ ਦੇ ਸਵਰਗਧਾਮ ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਇਆ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਖੀਰਲੀ ਵਿਦਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਫ਼ਤਹਿਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਹ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਬੱਚੇ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਭੁਪਿੰਦਰਾ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਸਕੂਲ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਹੋਣ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਇਨੋਵਾ ਵਾਹਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਮਾਣਾ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।ਨੱਸੂਪੁਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਨੇੜੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੇ ਟਿੱਪਰ ਨਾਲ ਵਾਹਨ ਦੀ ਟੱਕਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਵਾਹਨ ਰੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਜਾ ਟਕਰਾਇਆ। ਟੱਕਰ ਇੰਨੀ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਵਾਹਨ ਦਾ ਅੱਗਲਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕ੍ਰੇਨ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਕੱਢਣਾ ਪਿਆ।
ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਭਵਿਆਨ ਸਚਦੇਵਾ (8), ਭਿਵੰਸ਼ੀ ਸਚਦੇਵਾ (11), ਅਰਾਧਿਆ ਲੁੰਬਾ (10), ਪਰਵ ਸਚਦੇਵਾ (12), ਸੇਹਜਲ ਬੰਸਲ (12) ਅਤੇ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ (45) ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਕਈ ਹੋਰ ਬੱਚੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਨਾਜ਼ੁਕ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਹਸਪਤਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਲਾਜ ਅਧੀਨ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਮਾਣਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਗ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਛਾ ਗਈ। ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਕੂਲੀ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਟਿੱਪਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਲਗਾਮ ਚਾਲਨ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ. ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
On Wednesday, a tragic road accident on the Samana-Patiala road claimed the lives of five schoolchildren and their driver, Balwinder Singh. The children, students of Bhupindra International School in Patiala, were returning home to Samana when their Toyota Innova collided head-on with a sand-laden tipper truck near Nassupur village. The impact was so severe that the vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree, resulting in the immediate deaths of the occupants.
The deceased have been identified as Bhavyan Sachdeva (8), Bhivanshi Sachdeva (11), Aradhya Lumba (10), Parv Sachdeva (12), Sehjal Bansal (12), and driver Balwinder Singh (45). Several other students sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment at hospitals in Patiala.
In the wake of the accident, Samana town observed a shutdown as a mark of respect. Thousands attended the funeral services, expressing grief and demanding stricter enforcement of traffic regulations, especially concerning heavy vehicles like tippers operating near school zones.
Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh visited the injured students and directed officials to ensure compliance with the Safe School Vehicle Policy. He emphasized the need for speed governors on heavy vehicles and mandated fitness checks for drivers.
This incident has raised serious concerns about road safety and the enforcement of traffic laws in Punjab. Local authorities have pledged to take necessary actions to prevent such tragedies in the future.
