ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਕੋਠਾ ਪੋਨਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕ

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਗਾਇਕ ਅਤੇ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦਾ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਅੱਜ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਕੋਠਾ ਪੋਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਰੀ ਵਿਰਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਨੇ 27 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਬੱਦੀ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਿਛਲੇ 11 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਫੋਰਟਿਸ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਨਾਲ ਲੜ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰੇ 10:55 ਵਜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਸਾਹ ਲਏ। ਉਹ 35 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਮੌਤ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਉਸੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਬਣੀ ਸਟੇਜ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਗਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਾਇਕੀ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਸੀ।

ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦੇ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ, ਕੁਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਬਿੱਲਾ, ਬੱਬੂ ਮਾਨ, ਕੰਵਰ ਗਰੇਵਾਲ, ਪੁਖਰਾਜ ਭੱਲਾ, ਕਰਮਜੀਤ ਅਨਮੋਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਲਕੀਤ ਰੌਣੀ ਸਮੇਤ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਕਲਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਅਰਪੀ। ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ 2014 ਵਿੱਚ ਐਲਬਮ 'ਮੁੰਡਾ ਲਾਈਕ ਮੀ' ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ 2016 ਵਿੱਚ 'ਕਾਲੀ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦੀ' ਨਾਲ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ 'ਤੂੰ ਦਿਸ ਪੇਂਦਾ', 'ਖੁਸ਼ ਰਹੇ ਕਰ', 'ਸਰਦਾਰੀ', 'ਸਰਨੇਮ', 'ਅਫ਼ਰੀਨ', 'ਲੈਂਡਲੌਰਡ', 'ਡਾਊਨ ਟੂ ਅਰਥ' ਅਤੇ 'ਕੰਗਣੀ' ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ 'ਸੁਬੇਦਾਰ ਜੋਗਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ', 'ਜਿੰਦ ਜਾਨ' ਅਤੇ 'ਮਿੰਡੋ ਤਸੀਲਦਾਰਨੀ'। ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਸਟੇਬਲ ਵਜੋਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਕਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਏਐਸਆਈ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਝ ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ।

ਅੰਤਿਮ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਵੇਲੇ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ ਸਾਂਝ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਡੀਐੱਸਪੀ (ਡੀ) ਇੰਦਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੋਪਾਰਾਏ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਦੇ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਵਰਗੀ ਪਿਤਾ ਕਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ (ਦਿਹਾਤੀ) ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਸਨ। ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਦੇਰ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਜਦੋਂ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੇਹ ਪਿੰਡ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਦੋਸਤ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਵੀ ਆ ਗਏ। ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਦੀ ਮਾਂ ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਦਾ ਰੋ ਰੋ ਕੇ ਬੁਰਾ ਹਾਲ ਸੀ। ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਇੱਕ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਿਧਨ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਜਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਗ਼ਮ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਯਾਦ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।

The last rites of renowned Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda were performed today in his native village Kotha Pona, where thousands of fans bid him a final farewell. Rajvir Jawanda had been critically injured in a road accident near Baddi in Himachal Pradesh on September 27 and had been fighting for his life for the past 11 days at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, before taking his last breath this morning at 10:55 AM. He was 35 years old, and his sudden death has shocked the Punjabi music industry. The funeral took place in the same government school ground where Rajvir Jawanda gave his first performance on the stage that marked the beginning of his singing dreams.

During the funeral procession from Jawanda Niwas to the school, a large number of fans joined, creating an emotional and somber atmosphere. Several prominent singers and artists arrived, including Satinder Sartaaj, Babbu Maan, Ammy Virk, Mohammad Sadiq, Karamjit Anmol, Sardar Sohi, Kanwar Grewal, Mankirt Aulakh, Ranjit Bawa, Jass Bajwa, singer Gurlej Akhtar, Kulwinder Billa, Ravinder Grewal, Sukhwinder Sukhi, Himmat Sandhu, and Resham Anmol. Political and social leaders also attended in large numbers, such as former MP Amerik Singh Aliwal, senior Congress leader Major Singh Bhaeni, MLA Sarvjit Kaur Manuke, XEN Gurpreet Mahinder Sidhu, Advocate Sandeep Goel, Harmeet Sangha, former Sarpanch Gurwinder Singh Pona, Sarpanch Harpreet Singh Raju, former Chairman Chand Singh Dalla, Swarn Singh Tihada, Didar Singh Malk, and Nirbhay Singh Sidhu. Additionally, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also participated in the last rites and shared grief with the family.

Prior to this, at Rajvir Jawanda's residence, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Kulwinder Billa, Babbu Maan, Kanwar Grewal, Pukhraj Bhalla, Karamjit Anmol, and several artists from the music and film industry paid their tributes. Rajvir Jawanda began his career in 2014 with the album 'Munda Like Me' and gained fame in 2016 with 'Kali Jawanda Di'. His songs like 'Tu Dis Penda', 'Khush Reha Kar', 'Sardari', 'Surname', 'Afreen', 'Landlord', 'Down to Earth', and 'Kangani' made him popular worldwide. He also worked in Punjabi films such as 'Subedar Joginder Singh', 'Jind Jaan', and 'Mindo Taseeldarni'. Rajvir Jawanda had previously served as a constable in the Punjab Police, and his father Karm Singh was an ASI in the Punjab Police, who passed away a few years ago.

During the last rites, police personnel connected to Rajvir Jawanda's family were seen sharing emotional moments with his friends and relatives, as they had worked with him. DSP (D) Inderjit Singh Boparae recalled Rajvir's love for music and his dedication to his job, stating that Rajvir and his late father Karm Singh had worked with him in Ludhiana (Rural) district, and both were committed to their duties as police employees. When Rajvir Jawanda's mortal remains arrived in the village late Wednesday evening, friends and relatives connected to the family also arrived. His mother Parmjit Kaur, known as the Sarpanch in the village, was in a terrible state, weeping inconsolably. Rajvir Jawanda leaves behind his wife and two young children, a son and a daughter. His demise has created deep sorrow in the Punjabi music and film world, and his songs will always be remembered.
