ਪੰਜਾਬ ’ਚ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਸੂਸੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ 50 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ISI ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜੀ ਠਿਕਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਲੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਰੀਏ ISI ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਰਕਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ, ਪਲਕ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਮਸੀਹ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਮਸੀਹ, ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਇੰਟਰ-ਸਰਵਿਸਿਜ਼ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ (ISI) ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜੀ ਠਿਕਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਲੀਕ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੌਜੀ ਛਾਵਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ISI ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰੰਭਿਕ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਦ ਹਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਪਿੱਟੂ ਜਾਂ ਹੈਪੀ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਰੀਏ ISI ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਫੋਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਫੌਜੀ ਹਲਚਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ISI ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ₹5,000 ਤੋਂ ₹10,000 ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਰਕਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਿਕ ਰਾਜ ਭੇਦ ਐਕਟ ਅਤੇ ਆਈਟੀ ਐਕਟ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਗੌਰਵ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
The Punjab Police have arrested two individuals in Amritsar, Palak Sher Masih and Suraj Masih, for allegedly leaking sensitive information and photographs of Indian Army cantonment areas and Air Force bases to Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Preliminary investigations revealed that the duo was in contact with ISI through Harpreet Singh, also known as Pittu or Happy, currently incarcerated in Amritsar Central Jail. The police recovered images of military movements and airbases from the accused's mobile phones. It was also found that they received payments ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 for each piece of information shared. A case has been registered against them under the Official Secrets Act and the Information Technology Act, and further investigations are underway. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav stated that this arrest is significant for national security, and strict action will be taken against such activities.
