ਫਗਵਾੜਾ-ਜਲੰਧਰ ਹਾਈਵੇ 'ਤੇ ਕਹਿਰ: ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਟੱਕਰ 'ਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ, ਕਈ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਸੜੀਆਂ
ਫਗਵਾੜਾ-ਜਲੰਧਰ ਹਾਈਵੇ 'ਤੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਚਹੇੜੂ ਨੇੜੇ ਵਾਪਰੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਰਲ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਸਮੀਰ ਰੌਫ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਸਾਥੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹਾਈਵੇ 'ਤੇ ਕਈ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਕਰਾ ਗਈਆਂ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਟਰੱਕ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗ ਗਈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਇਰ ਬ੍ਰਿਗੇਡ ਨੇ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ।
ਫਗਵਾੜਾ/ਜਲੰਧਰ: ਫਗਵਾੜਾ-ਜਲੰਧਰ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਹਾਈਵੇ (Phagwara-Jalandhar National Highway) 'ਤੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਚਹੇੜੂ (Chaheru) ਨੇੜੇ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਦੇਰ ਰਾਤ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਲ ਕੰਬਾਊ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ। ਇਸ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਦੀ ਦਰਦਨਾਕ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਉਸਦਾ ਸਾਥੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹਾਈਵੇ 'ਤੇ ਕਈ ਵਾਹਨ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਕਰਾ ਗਏ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤ ਧਮਾਕਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗ ਗਈ।
ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਇਹ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਰਾਤ ਕਰੀਬ 11:30 ਵਜੇ ਈਸਟਵੁੱਡ (Eastwood) ਨੇੜੇ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ। ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ਸਵਾਰ ਦੋ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਵਾਹਨ ਨਾਲ ਟਕਰਾ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਟੱਕਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਰਲ (Kerala) ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਸਮੀਰ ਰੌਫ (Asmir Rauf) ਦੀ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਹੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਅਸਮੀਰ ਇੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਏਅਰਪੋਰਟ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ (Airport Management) ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵਿਨਾਇਕ ਉਰਫ ਸੁਰੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਲੱਤ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਸਿਵਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ (Civil Hospital) ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਤੀ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਹਾਦਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਬਾਅਦ ਹਾਈਵੇ 'ਤੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਵਾਹਨ ਇੱਕ-ਦੂਜੇ ਨਾਲ ਟਕਰਾਉਣੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਟੱਕਰ ਇੰਨੀ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਟਰੱਕ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਅੱਗ ਦੀ ਲਪੇਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਗਈਆਂ। ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਫਾਇਰ ਬ੍ਰਿਗੇਡ (Fire Brigade) ਨੇ ਕਾਫੀ ਜੱਦੋ-ਜਹਿਦ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੱਗ 'ਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਪਾਇਆ। ਸਤਨਾਮਪੁਰਾ ਥਾਣੇ ਦੇ ਐਸਐਚਓ (SHO) ਹਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੋਏ ਇੱਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਟਰੈਫਿਕ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਹੌਲੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਹ ਲੜੀਵਾਰ ਟੱਕਰਾਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੀ ਦੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੋਸਟਮਾਰਟਮ ਲਈ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
Phagwara/Jalandhar: A heart-wrenching road accident occurred late Sunday night near village Chaheru on the Phagwara-Jalandhar National Highway. In this tragic incident, a student from a private university lost his life, while his companion was critically injured. Following the initial crash, multiple vehicles collided on the highway, leading to a massive explosion and causing vehicles to catch fire.
According to the information received, the accident took place around 11:30 PM near Eastwood. Two students riding a motorcycle collided with an unidentified vehicle. In this collision, Asmir Rauf, a resident of Kerala, died on the spot. Asmir was pursuing a course in Airport Management at a local private university. His fellow student, Vinayak alias Suresh, suffered a fractured leg and has been admitted to the Civil Hospital for treatment.
Immediately after the accident, vehicles coming on the highway started colliding with each other. The vehicle collisionwas so severe that several vehicles, including a truck, were engulfed in flames. The Fire Brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire after much effort. Satnampura Police Station SHO Hardeep Singh stated that traffic was already slow due to a previous accident, which led to this pile-up. The Punjab Police have sent the deceased's body for post-mortem, and the matter is being investigated thoroughly.
