ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਕਸਬਾ ਰਈਆ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਨਿੱਜਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਅੱਜ ਤੜਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੂਲਕਾ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋੜੀਂਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਗੁਪਤ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਘੇਰਾਬੰਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਨੇ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਵਾਬੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਢੇਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਫੋਰਸ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਜਲਦ ਹੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੇ ਵੇਰਵੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
ਰਈਆ/ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ: ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਕਸਬਾ ਰਈਆ ਨੇੜਲੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਨਿੱਜਰ (Nijjar Village) ਵਿਖੇ ਅੱਜ ਤੜਕਸਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਹੋਈ। ਇਸ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ (Police Encounter) ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੁੱਢਲੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਇਹ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਧੂਲਕਾ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ (Manjit Singh Dhulka Murder) ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋੜੀਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।
ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਪਤ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਕਤ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਨਿੱਜਰ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੁਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਸੂਚਨਾ ਮਿਲਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ (Amritsar Rural Police) ਦੀ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਘੇਰਾਬੰਦੀ ਕਰ ਲਈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਤਮ-ਸਮਰਪਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ, ਪਰ ਉਸਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ 'ਤੇ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਚਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਵੈ-ਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਜਵਾਬੀ ਫਾਇਰਿੰਗ (Firing) ਦੌਰਾਨ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਦੀ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਹੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
ਘਟਨਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਫੋਰਸ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਡੀਆਈਜੀ (DIG) ਰੈਂਕ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰਪੂਰਵਕ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਫਿਲਹਾਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਸ਼ਨਾਖਤ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਣੀ ਬਾਕੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਿਮ ਦਾ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਹੈ।
Rayya/Amritsar: A heavy exchange of fire took place early this morning between Punjab Police and a gangster at village Nijjar near Rayya town in Amritsar district. In this Police Encounter, one gangster has been killed. According to preliminary information, this gangster was wanted in connection with the Manjit Singh Dhulka Murder case and had been pursued by the police for a long time.
According to the information received, on Monday morning, the police received a tip-off that the said gangster was hiding in the fields of Nijjar Village. Acting swiftly on the information, the Amritsar Rural Police team cordoned off the area. The police asked the accused to surrender, but he opened fire on the police party. During the retaliatory firing by the police in self-defense, the gangster was killed on the spot.
A heavy police force has been deployed at the scene. DIG rank officials are expected to reach the spot and will share detailed information about the incident through a press conference. Currently, the official confirmation regarding the complete identification of the killed gangster and the weapons recovered is awaited from the police. Due to this encounter, there is an atmosphere of fear in the area.
