ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਗਿਆ
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਜੋ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ। ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ, ਗਤਕਾ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲੰਗਰ ਵੰਡੇ ਗਏ। ਗੁਰਪੁਰਬ ਲਈ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਭੋਗ, ਜਲੌ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਤੋਂ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੰਘਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਵਾਪਸ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਵਿਖੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਖਤਮ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪਾਵਨ ਸਰੂਪ ਨੂੰ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਪਾਲਕੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਛਤਰ ਛਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ।
ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਹੈੱਡ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੀ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਰਘਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਦੇ ਹੈੱਡ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੀ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਭਾਈ ਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਹਿਤਾ, ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੂਹ, ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ, ਮੈਨੇਜਰ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਧੰਗੇੜਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ। ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਗਤਕਾ ਜੱਥਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਗਤਕਾ ਖੇਡਿਆ, ਸੰਗਤ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਗਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਕਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੰਗਰ ਵੀ ਲਾਏ ਗਏ।
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖਬਾਦੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ। ਗੁਰਪੁਰਬ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਫੁੱਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਜਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਮੁੰਬਈ ਤੋਂ ਆਈ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ, ਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ ਦਿਉੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਜਾਵਟ ਕੀਤੀ। ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਾਹਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਭਲਕੇ 8 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਪੁਰਬ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੰਜੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀਵਾਨ ਹਾਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਭੋਗ ਪਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਾਬਾ ਅਟਲ ਰਾਏ ਵਿਖੇ ਜਲੌ ਸਜਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਚੱਲਣਗੇ। ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਦੀਪ ਮਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਤਿਸ਼ਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
The city founder and fourth Guru of Sikhism, Sri Guru Ramdas Ji's birth anniversary dedicated nagar kirtan was taken out by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee with the cooperation of Sikh congregations from Sri Akal Takht. The nagar kirtan started from Sri Akal Takht and passed through Amritsar city's ancient gates before returning and concluding at Sri Akal Takht. On this occasion, the holy scripture was placed in a beautiful palanquin. Under the canopy of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and led by the Panj Pyaras, a large number of devotees participated.
The nagar kirtan included Head Granthi of Sri Harmandir Sahib Giani Ragbir Singh, Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj, Head Granthi of Sri Akal Takht Giani Gurmukh Singh, Shiromani Committee members Bhai Ranjinder Singh Mehta, Gurmit Singh Booh, Secretary Pratap Singh, Manager Bhagwant Singh Dhangerda along with many officials and employees. During the nagar kirtan, gatka teams performed gatka, the congregation sang shabads, and langars of various sweets were served at different places along the route.
In this way, the nagar kirtan celebrated Sri Guru Ramdas Ji's birth anniversary festively. For the Gurpurb related events, the decoration of Sri Harmandir Sahib with flowers is ongoing. The congregation from Mumbai decorated Sri Harmandir Sahib, Sri Akal Takht, Darshani Deodi, and other places beautifully. The district administration, including Deputy Commissioner Smt. Sakshi Sahni and other officials, welcomed the nagar kirtan.
Tomorrow, October 8, bhogs will be offered at Gurdwara Manji Sahib Diwan Hall in connection with the Gurpurb. Jalows will be lit at Sri Harmandir Sahib, Sri Akal Takht, and Gurdwara Baba Atal Rai, and Gurmat samagams will continue throughout the day. Deepmala and fireworks will also be held at night.
