ਮੋਗਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਬਾਘਾਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਏ ਇੱਕ ਦਰਦਨਾਕ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਜੋੜੇ ਕਮਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਜਸਕਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਉਦੋਂ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਕਾਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸੰਗਤਪੁਰਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੋਣ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਲਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰ ਬੇਕਾਬੂ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸੜਕ ਕੰਢੇ ਨਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਡਿੱਗੀ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਅਗਲੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ
ਮੋਗਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਬਾਘਾਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਰਦਨਾਕ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਵਿਰਾਮ ਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦਕਾਰਨ ਸੰਗਤਪੁਰਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਨੇੜੇ ਵਿਜ਼ੀਬਿਲਟੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ, ਇੱਕ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਜੋੜੇ ਦੀ ਕਾਰ ਬੇਕਾਬੂ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਨਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਡਿੱਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਹੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਮਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਤੀ ਜਸਕਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਮੋਗਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਸਨ। ਕਮਲਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਸੰਗਤਪੁਰਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੋਲਿੰਗ ਬੂਥ 'ਤੇ ਚੋਣ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਲਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਧੂਰਕੋਟ ਰਣਸਿੰਘ ਪਿੰਡ ਸਥਿਤ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰੋਂ ਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਨੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਗ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਲਿਆ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨਿਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੇਰੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਮੌਤ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਡਿਊਟੀ 'ਤੇ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ
A tragic road accident in the Baghapuran area of Moga district on Sunday morning prematurely ended the dreams of a family. Due to dense fog and extremely low visibility near Sangatpura village, a teacher couple's car went out of control and plunged into a canal, resulting in the instantaneous death of both occupants. The deceased were identified as Kamaljeet Kaur and her husband, Jaskaran Singh, both of whom served as teachers in schools across Moga district. Kamaljeet Kaur was on her way to election duty at a polling booth in Sangatpura village at the time of the accident. They had left their home in Dhurkot Ransingh village in their car.
