ਜਲੰਧਰ: ਨਾਬਾਲਗ ਕਤਲ ਮਾਮਲੇ 'ਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਐਕਸ਼ਨ, ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ASI ਕੀਤਾ ਡਿਸਮਿਸ, 2 ਹੋਰ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ
ਜਲੰਧਰ ਨਾਬਾਲਗ ਕਤਲ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਵਰਤਣ ਲਈ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਧਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੌਕੇ 'ਤੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ ਫੁਟੇਜ ਦੀ ਅਣਦੇਖੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਏ ਐੱਸ ਆਈ (ASI) ਮੰਗਤ ਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਡਿਸਮਿਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਦੋ ਹੋਰ ਪੀਸੀਆਰ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਵਿਭਾਗੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਅਪਰਾਧਿਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਲਈ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ-ਟੋਲਰੈਂਸ ਨੀਤੀ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਬਾਲਗ ਲੜਕੀ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਦੇ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਐਕਸ਼ਨ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਜਲੰਧਰ, ਧਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਵਰਤਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਏ ਐੱਸ ਆਈ (ASI) ਮੰਗਤ ਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਡਿਸਮਿਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਦੋ ਹੋਰ ਪੀਸੀਆਰ ਦੇ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਵਿਭਾਗੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਇਹ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਬਸਤੀ ਬਾਵਾ ਖੇਲ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰੇ ਇਸ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਨਾਬਾਲਗ ਕਤਲ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਪਰਾਧਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਤਾਹੀ ਜਾਂ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਬਰਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਕਿ ਏ ਐੱਸ ਆਈ ਮੰਗਤ ਰਾਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਘਟਨਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਬਣਦੀ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ ਫੁਟੇਜ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਸਬੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਦਿਖਾਈ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਲਾਪਰਵਾਹੀ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੇ ਅਕਸ ਨੂੰ ਢਾਹ ਲਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਬਲਕਿ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਆਂ ਦਿਵਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ-ਟੋਲਰੈਂਸ ਨੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਏ ਐੱਸ ਆਈ ਨੂੰ ਡਿਸਮਿਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੋ ਹੋਰ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂਨੂੰ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਜਲੰਧਰ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਇਸ ਨਾਬਾਲਗ ਕਤਲ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਕੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
In the sensitive Minor Murder Case and sexual assault of a minor girl in Jalandhar, the Police Commissioner has taken major action. Police Commissioner Jalandhar, Dhanpreet Kaur, has strictly acted against ASI Mangat Ram for showing negligence during the investigation process by dismissing him from service. Furthermore, two other PCR police employees have also been suspended and departmental action has been initiated against them.
This strict measure was taken considering the gravity of the Minor Murder Case which occurred in the Basti Bawa Khel area. The Police Commissioner clarified that any kind of dereliction of duty or negligence in serious crime cases will not be tolerated.
During the investigation, it was revealed that ASI Mangat Ram failed to take the required police action at the scene, nor did he carefully examine the CCTV footage or expedite the collection of essential evidence. Such carelessness not only harms the image of the police department but also impacts the process of delivering justice to the victim's family.
Therefore, under the zero-tolerance policy, the Police Commissioner Jalandhar immediately dismissed the ASI and suspended the two other employees to prevent such negligence in the future. Jalandhar Police is continuing the remaining investigation in this Minor Murder Case.
