ਨਿਊਯਾਰਕ ਟਾਈਮਜ਼ ਦੀ ਹਾਲੀਆ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਫੌਜੀ ਠਿਕਾਣਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਟੀਕ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਡਾ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ। ਉੱਚ-ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸੈਟੇਲਾਈਟ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਹਮਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡਿਆਂ, ਖ਼ਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਨੂਰ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ, ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ। ਇਹ ਹਮਲੇ "ਓਪਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਧੂਰ" ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ 7 ਮਈ 2025 ਨੂੰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਫੇਲ ਜਹਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ SCALP ਮਿਸਾਈਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਇਹ ਹਮਲੇ ਪਾਹਲਗਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਏ ਅਤਿਵਾਦੀ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ 26 ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਮਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ "ਸਟੀਕ, ਮਾਪੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਉਕਸਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ" ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਸੈਟੇਲਾਈਟ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨੂਰ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਨੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਰਣਨੀਤਿਕ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ।
A recent report by The New York Times, corroborated by high-resolution satellite imagery, reveals that India executed precision strikes on Pakistani military installations, causing significant damage. The targeted attacks, part of "Operation Sindoor" conducted on May 7, 2025, utilized Rafale jets equipped with SCALP missiles to hit key sites, including the Nur Khan Airbase.
These strikes were in retaliation for a terrorist attack in Pahalgam that resulted in the deaths of 26 Indian civilians. India described the operations as "precise, measured, and non-escalatory." Satellite images indicate that the attack on Nur Khan Airbase also impacted the headquarters of Pakistan's Strategic Plans Division, responsible for the country's nuclear arsenal.
