ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ – ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ 350ਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਦਿਵਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੱਕ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਸਿੱਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਡਾਕ ਟਿਕਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਕ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੋਚ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਹਰ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਇਹ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨੌਵੇਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਅਤਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਕੱਟੜਤਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇੱਕ ਮਿਸਾਲੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਲੜੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸੰਸਕ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਸਮੁੱਚੀ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਸੀ।
