ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ-ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਟ੍ਰੇਨ: 7 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਦੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀ 7 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਲਈ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਜੋ ਫ਼ਰੀਦਕੋਟ, ਬਠਿੰਡਾ, ਧੂਰੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ, ਅੰਬਾਲਾ, ਕੁਰੂਕਸ਼ੇਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀਪਤ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਗੱਡੀ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੇ ਦਿਨ ਚੱਲੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਯਾਤਰੂਆਂ ਲਈ ਤੇਜ਼ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਲਾਭ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਭਾਜਪਾ ਆਗੂ ਰਾਣਾ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੋਢੀ ਦੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਲਵਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਨੈਕਟੀਵਿਟੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤੱਕ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਰੀ ਝੰਡੀ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਗੱਡੀ 7 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਛਾਉਣੀ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਸਵੇਰੇ 7:55 ਵਜੇ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਰੇਲ ਫ਼ਰੀਦਕੋਟ, ਬਠਿੰਡਾ, ਧੂਰੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ, ਅੰਬਾਲਾ, ਕੁਰੂਕਸ਼ੇਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀਪਤ ਵਰਗੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ 2:35 ਵਜੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਪਹੁੰਚੇਗੀ। ਉਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਸ਼ਾਮ 4 ਵਜੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਾਤ 10:30 ਵਜੇ ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਛਾਉਣੀ ਵਾਪਸ ਪਹੁੰਚੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੇ ਦਿਨ ਚੱਲੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਰਾਮ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।
ਇਸ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਦੇ ਚਾਲੂ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਮੰਗ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਰੇਲ ਯਾਤਰੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਵੱਡਾ ਫ਼ਾਇਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਤੇਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਮ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਫੌਜੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਲਾਭਕਾਰੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਮੀਤ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਿਜੇ ਕਾਇਤ, ਭਾਜਪਾ ਆਗੂ ਕੁਲਵੰਤ ਰਾਏ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ, ਰਾਜੇਸ਼ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਗਰਗ ਵਰਗੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਇਜ਼ਹਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਾਣਾ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੋਢੀ ਦੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੰਤ ਅੰਤ ਫਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਰਾਣਾ ਸੋਢੀ ਨੇ ਰੇਲ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਰਾਣਾ ਸੋਢੀ ਦੇ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਹਰਿਦਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੰਦੇੜ ਵੱਲ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਚਲਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਰੇਲ ਕਨੈਕਟੀਵਿਟੀ ਵੀ ਮੁੜ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਮੋਗਾ ਤੋਂ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਇੰਟਰਸਿਟੀ ਟ੍ਰੇਨ ਵੀ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਫ਼ਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਰੇਲ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਵੈਸ਼ਨੋਵ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਲਈ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਵਾ ਖੇਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਵੇਗੀ।
The Indian Railways has given the green signal to the Vande Bharat train from Ferozepur to New Delhi. This Vande Bharat train will depart for the first time on November 7, Friday, from Ferozepur Cantt Railway Station at 7:55 AM. The train will pass through stations like Faridkot, Bathinda, Dhuri, Patiala, Ambala, Kurukshetra, and Panipat, arriving at New Delhi Railway Station at 2:35 PM. On the same day, the return journey will start from New Delhi at 4:00 PM and reach back Ferozepur Cantt at 10:30 PM. This Ferozepur Delhi Vande Bharat train will run six days a week and will rest on Wednesdays.
With the launch of this Vande Bharat train, a long-standing demand of the people in Ferozepur and surrounding areas will be fulfilled. Rail passengers in the region will get a huge benefit as it will provide fast and comfortable travel. Being near the Pakistan border, Ferozepur district will also prove very beneficial for army officers and soldiers.
BJP district vice president Vijay Kait, BJP leaders Kulwant Rai Katariya, Rajesh Gupta, and Ravinder Garg have expressed their happiness over this. They said that the efforts of BJP senior leader and former minister Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi have finally borne fruit. Rana Sodhi had held extensive discussions with the Railway Ministry, and this was his dream. Previously, due to Rana Sodhi's efforts, new trains from Ferozepur to Haridwar and Hazur Sahib Nanded have been started. Similarly, direct rail connectivity to Chandigarh has also been resumed. Now, the Moga to New Delhi Intercity train will soon start from Ferozepur as well. These leaders have thanked the Railway Ministry and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for this decision. This Vande Bharat train will play an important role in connecting Punjab's Malwa region with the national capital.
