ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਲਈ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਰਵਾਨਾ, ਮਾਲਵੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਸੈਮੀ-ਹਾਈਸਪੀਡ ਰੇਲ

ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਵਾਰਾਣਸੀ ਤੋਂ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਛਾਉਣੀ-ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਮੇਤ ਚਾਰ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸਿੰਗ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਝੰਡੀ ਦਿਖਾ ਕੇ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਵਾ ਖਿੱਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਮਿਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਵਨੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਨੇ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਨੂੰ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਾਣਾ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੋਢੀ, ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਘੁਬਾਇਆ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਿੰਕੀ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਲੋਕ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ, ਵਪਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਕ ਕਾਰਕੁਨ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ।

ਇਹ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦਾ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 6 ਘੰਟੇ 40 ਮਿੰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਸਵੇਰੇ 7:55 ਵਜੇ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਛਾਉਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲ ਕੇ ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ, ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਜੰਕਸ਼ਨ, ਧੂਰੀ ਜੰਕਸ਼ਨ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ, ਅੰਬਾਲਾ ਛਾਉਣੀ ਜੰਕਸ਼ਨ, ਕੁਰੂਕਸ਼ੇਤਰ ਜੰਕਸ਼ਨ, ਪਾਨੀਪਤ ਜੰਕਸ਼ਨ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ 2:35 ਵਜੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਜੰਕਸ਼ਨ ਪਹੁੰਚੇਗੀ। ਵਾਪਸੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ 4:00 ਵਜੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲ ਕੇ ਰਾਤ 10:35 ਵਜੇ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਪਹੁੰਚੇਗੀ।

ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਵਨੀਤ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਮਾਲਵਾ ਖਿੱਤੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੀਂ ਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ-ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ ਰੇਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਮਦਮਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਰੇਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਾਜ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਖਿੱਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੀ ਗਤੀ ਵਧ ਸਕੇ। ਰਵਨੀਤ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਨੇ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹਰ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਰੇਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਇਜ਼ਾ ਲਿਆ।

ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਤੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸਰੂਪ ਚੰਦ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ, ਦਿਆਲ ਦਾਸ ਸੋਢੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਮੰਦਰ ਜੱਸੀ ਨੇ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅੰਬਾਲਾ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਨਿਲ ਵਿੱਜ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਥਾਨਕ ਵਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਰੇਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਖਿੱਤੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਦਮ ਦੱਸਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਵਾਰਾਣਸੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਦੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਹ ਰੱਖ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਤੇ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਚਾਰ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ 160 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵੰਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਰੇਲ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off four new Vande Bharat trains from Varanasi, including the Ferozepur Cantt-Delhi Vande Bharat, giving Punjab's Malwa region its first Vande Bharat train. The train will complete the journey between Ferozepur and the national capital Delhi in just 6 hours and 40 minutes.

At the event held at Ferozepur railway station, Union Minister of State Ravneet Singh Bittu flagged off the train. He was accompanied by former minister Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi, MP Sher Singh Ghubaya, president Ashwani Sharma, and former MLA Parminder Singh Pinki. A large number of local residents, students, traders, and social workers participated in the program.

Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu said on the occasion that many more important projects will be started in the Ferozepur area in the future. The state government should fully cooperate with the center so that the pace of development in the region can accelerate. Mr. Bittu said, "The Chandigarh-Rajpura rail project has started, and in the coming days, the dream of connecting Takht Damdama Sahib with rail connectivity will also be fulfilled." He informed that four Takhts of the country have already been connected by rail, and the fifth Takht Sri Damdama Sahib will soon be connected by rail. He said that with the start of this train, the development of the Malwa region will get a boost. The train will depart from Ferozepur at 7:55 AM and reach Delhi by 2:35 PM. Ravneet Bittu traveled in the train, met people at every station, and reviewed the facilities of the train. Local people and the trading community described the start of the Ferozepur-Delhi Vande Bharat service as an important step for the development of the region. At Bathinda station, BJP executive president Ashwani Sharma, district president Saroop Chand Singla, Dayal Das Sodhi, and former minister Harmandar Jassi, among others, warmly welcomed the train. Upon reaching Ambala, Haryana minister Anil Vij welcomed the Vande Bharat train.

The Vande Bharat train will depart from Ferozepur Cantt railway station at 7:55 AM, passing through Faridkot, Bathinda Jn., Dhuri Jn., Patiala, Ambala Cantt Jn., Kurukshetra Jn., Panipat Jn., and reach Delhi Jn. railway station by 2:35 PM. From Delhi, the train will depart at 4:00 PM and reach Ferozepur Cantt railway station by 10:35 PM.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in Varanasi that infrastructure is a key factor in the economic development of developed countries worldwide, and India is also moving forward rapidly on the path of development. He said that spiritual tourism has started development in Uttar Pradesh, where pilgrims visiting holy sites are contributing thousands of crores of rupees to the state's economy. The Prime Minister was addressing the event after flagging off four new Vande Bharat Express trains at the railway station in his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi. Mr. Modi said, "The biggest reason for economic development in developed countries around the world has been their infrastructure. Every country that has progressed has had developed infrastructure as the driving force behind it. Infrastructure is not limited to just big bridges and highways. Whenever such systems are developed somewhere, it leads to the complete development of that area." Highlighting India's rapid progress, the Prime Minister said, "So many Vande Bharat trains are running, and flights are coming from countries around the world. All this progress is now linked to development. Today, India is also moving forward rapidly on this path." He said, "Trains like Vande Bharat, Namo Bharat, and Amrit Bharat are laying the foundation for the new generation of Indian Railways. Vande Bharat is a train made by Indians for Indians, and every Indian is proud of it. Now foreign travelers are also amazed to see Vande Bharat. Today, India has started a campaign to improve its resources for a developed nation, and these trains will prove to be milestones in that." With the addition of four new trains, more than 160 Vande Bharat Express trains are now running in the country.
