ਧਰਮਕੋਟ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਅਨਸਰਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਤੇ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਰਚ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਟਿਕਾਣਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਕਸਦ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਨ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜਨਾ ਹੈ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਹੜ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਿੱਢੀ ਗਈ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਧਰਮਕੋਟ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕੋ ਸਮੇਂ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਜੜ ਮਚ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਗੁਪਤ ਸੂਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਅਨਸਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਫਾਇਆ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਇਸ ਸਰਚ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੱਪੇ-ਚੱਪੇ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਗਈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਟਿਕਾਣਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਰੱਖੀ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਵਿਕਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਸਟੋਰੇਜ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਖਦਸ਼ਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਖ਼ਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਅਪਰਾਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਸਗੋਂ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਵੀ ਵਧੇਗੀ।
ਇਸ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਲਾਕਾ ਨਿਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਧਰਮਕੋਟ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇਹ ਜੰਗ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਕਾਬੰਦੀ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਬਚ ਕੇ ਨਾ ਨਿਕਲ ਸਕੇ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਕ ਸਾਂਝ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਬਣੀ ਰਹੇ।
Dharamkot: Under the ongoing campaign to eradicate the menace of drugs in Punjab, the Dharamkot Police achieved significant progress today. Various police teams conducted simultaneous raids in three prominent villages of the area, causing panic among drug smugglers and those involved in illegal activities. The action was based on confidential intelligence aimed at flushing out anti-social elements from the region.
According to police officials, every corner of the villages was thoroughly searched during this search operation. The police kept a close watch on locations suspected of drug sales or storage. During this operation, the police also detained several suspicious individuals who are currently undergoing rigorous interrogation. The police believe that such actions will not only instill fear among criminals but also enhance the sense of security among the general public.
The police received immense cooperation from the local residents during these raids. Dharamkot Police clarified that this war against drugs would be intensified in the coming days. Police cordons were also established in the villages to ensure no suspect could escape. The police have appealed to the public to immediately inform the authorities if they notice any suspicious activity in their surroundings, ensuring community bonding and peace are maintained.
