ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਏਅਰਪੋਰਟ 'ਤੇ ਧੁੰਦ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ: 21 ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਰੱਦ, ਮੁਸਾਫ਼ਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਧੀ ਖੁਆਰੀ
ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਰਹੀ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਕਾਰਨ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਖ਼ਰਾਬ ਵਿਜ਼ੀਬਿਲਟੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਅੱਜ 21 ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਰੱਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ 3 ਤੋਂ 5 ਘੰਟੇ ਦੇਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਮੁਸਾਫ਼ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ
ਉੱਤਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਰਹੀ ਕੜਾਕੇ ਦੀ ਠੰਢ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਨੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੁਸਾਫ਼ਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਸਵੇਰ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਦਾ ਇੰਨਾ ਗਲਬਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਵਿਜ਼ੀਬਿਲਟੀ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ ਦੇ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਰਹਿ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਏਅਰਪੋਰਟ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ 21 ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਪਈਆਂ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਮੁਸਾਫ਼ਰਾਂ ਦੀ 'ਆਪਸੀ ਸਾਂਝ' ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਘਨ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ।
ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ 'ਤੇ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਮੁਸਾਫ਼ਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਰੋਸ ਦੇਖਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਕਈ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਦੂਰ-ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਸਨ। ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਦੇ 3 ਤੋਂ 5 ਘੰਟੇ ਦੇਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ਦੇ ਲੌਂਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਲੰਬਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਿਆ। ਇਹ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਜਾਂ ਵਿਆਹ-ਸ਼ਾਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ, ਪਰ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਦੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਮੀਦਾਂ ਅਤੇ 'ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ ਸਾਂਝ' ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੜਚਨ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਏਅਰਪੋਰਟ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੁਸਾਫ਼ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਰ-ਵਾਰ ਮੌਸਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੀਰਜ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਮੁਸਾਫ਼ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਫੰਡ ਜਾਂ ਅਗਲੀਆਂ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਮਾਹੌਲ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਤਣਾਅਪੂਰਨ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਧੁੰਦ ਦਾ ਅਸਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੁਸਾਫ਼ਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਰੋਂ ਨਿਕਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਡਾਣ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਚੈੱਕ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
The severe cold and dense fog prevailing in North India have escalated the troubles for air travelers. At Chandigarh's Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, the fog was so intense this morning that visibility dropped to near zero. Consequently, the airport authority had to cancel 21 flights, disrupting the 'mutual bonding' and essential schedules of thousands of passengers.
Great resentment was witnessed among the passengers at the airport, as many families had come from far and wide to meet their loved ones. Due to flights being delayed by 3 to 5 hours, children and the elderly had to wait for long periods in the airport lounges. This situation was deeply emotional for families traveling to attend special occasions or weddings, but the fury of nature hindered their hopes and 'emotional bonds.'
Airport management is repeatedly providing weather updates to passengers and urging them to remain patient. Airline companies are attempting to offer refunds or seats on subsequent flights to some passengers, but the atmosphere remains quite tense. According to the Meteorological Department, the impact of fog may persist for the next few days; therefore, passengers are advised to check their flight status before leaving home.
