ਅਹਿਮਦਾਬਾਦ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਹਾਦਸੇ ’ਚ 80 ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ, 33 ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਸੌਂਪੀਆਂ
ਅਹਿਮਦਾਬਾਦ ’ਚ ਹੋਏ ਏਅਰ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੇ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਹਾਦਸੇ ’ਚ 241 ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ’ਤੇ 29 ਲੋਕ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ। ਅਥਾਰਿਟੀਜ਼ ਨੇ 80 ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਡੀਐੱਨਏ ਟੈਸਟਿੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਪਛਾਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ 33 ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪੀਆਂ।
ਅਹਿਮਦਾਬਾਦ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਹਾਦਸੇ ’ਚ ਅਥਾਰਿਟੀਜ਼ ਨੇ 241 ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ’ਚੋਂ 80 ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਡੀਐੱਨਏ ਟੈਸਟਿੰਗ ਜ਼ਰੀਏ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ 33 ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਪੀੜਤ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਸਨ।
ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਬੀਜੇ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕਾਲਜ ’ਚ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਡਾ. ਰਜਨੀਸ਼ ਪਟੇਲ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਿਜੈ ਰੂਪਾਨੀ ਦੀ ਡੀਐੱਨਏ ਮੈਚਿੰਗ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ 230 ਟੀਮਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਅਹਿਮਦਾਬਾਦ ਤੋਂ ਲੰਡਨ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਏਅਰ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦੀ ਉਡਾਣ ’ਚ ਹੋਇਆ, ਜਿਸ ’ਚ 242 ਯਾਤਰੀ ਸਵਾਰ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ’ਚ 12 ਚਾਲਕ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ। ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕਾਂ ’ਚ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵਿਜੈ ਰੂਪਾਨੀ ਵੀ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਹਾਦਸੇ ’ਚ ਇਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੂਲ ਦਾ ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਚਮਤਕਾਰੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਬਚ ਗਿਆ।
ਏਅਰ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਦਾ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਕਰੈਸ਼ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ’ਤੇ 29 ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ’ਚ ਪੰਜ MBBS ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ। ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਵੱਲਭਭਾਈ ਪਟੇਲ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਉਡਾਣ ਭਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇਰ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੀ ਮੇਘਾਨੀਨਗਰ ਖੇਤਰ ’ਚ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਕੈਂਪਸ ’ਚ ਡਿੱਗ ਗਿਆ।
Authorities have identified 80 victims of the 241 passengers killed in the Ahmedabad plane crash through DNA testing. So far, 33 bodies have been handed over to their respective families. The victims belonged to various regions of Rajasthan and Gujarat.
Dr. Rajnish Patel, a surgery professor at the government BJ Medical College, stated that the DNA matching process for former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani is also ongoing. Authorities had earlier informed that 230 teams were formed to coordinate with the victims’ families. The Air India flight, traveling from Ahmedabad to London, had 242 passengers on board, including 12 crew members. The deceased included former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. In this horrific plane crash, a British citizen of Indian origin miraculously survived.
The Air India plane crash also killed 29 people on the ground, including five MBBS students. The plane crashed in the Meghani Nagar area near a medical college campus shortly after taking off from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.
