ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਾਇਕ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦਾ 35 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਫੋਰਟਿਸ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਜੋ 27 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਦੀ ਨੇੜੇ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 11 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਵੈਂਟੀਲੇਟਰ ਤੇ ਲੜਦੇ ਰਹੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 'ਸਰਦਾਰੀ', 'ਸਰਨੇਮ' ਵਰਗੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਚਾਹਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੰਡ ਪੋਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਫੈਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਮੌਤ ਨੇ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਸੋਗ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਾਇਕ ਅਤੇ ਅਦਾਕਾਰ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦਾ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਫੋਰਟਿਸ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ 35 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ 27 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਬੱਦੀ ਨੇੜੇ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਮਲਾ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਟਕੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਨਾਲ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਰੀੜ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਹੱਡੀ ਤੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਸੱਟ ਲੱਗੀ। ਪਿਛਲੇ 11 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਹ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੈਂਟੀਲੇਟਰ ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਲੜ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਅੰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਵੇਰੇ 10:55 ਵਜੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਸਾਹ ਲਏ।
ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਅਭਿਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦੇ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗੀਤਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਨੇਆ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੋਗ ਦੀ ਲਹਿਰ ਛਾ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੇ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨੇ। ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਨੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੇਹ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹਤਿਆਤ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਫੋਰਸ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦੀ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਦੇਹ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਸੈਕਟਰ 71 ਵਿਚਲੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਤੇ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਪੋਸਟਮਾਰਟਮ ਲਈ ਸਿਵਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਵੀਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਰਾਓਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੱਦੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਪੋਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਜਗਰਾਓਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਪੋਨਾ ਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਪੋਸਟ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ 'ਤੂੰ ਦਿਸ ਪੈਂਦਾ', 'ਖੁਸ਼ ਰਿਹਾ ਕਰ', 'ਸਰਦਾਰੀ', 'ਸਰਨੇਮ', 'ਆਫ਼ਰੀਨ', 'ਜ਼ਮੀਂਦਾਰ', 'ਡਾਊਨ ਟੂ ਅਰਥ' ਅਤੇ 'ਕੰਗਣੀ' ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿਆਰ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ 2018 ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿੱਪੀ ਗਰੇਵਾਲ ਨਾਲ 'ਸੂਬੇਦਾਰ ਜੋਗਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ', 2019 ਵਿੱਚ 'ਜਿੰਦ ਜਾਨ' ਅਤੇ 'ਮਿੰਦੋ ਤਹਿਸੀਲਦਾਰਨੀ'। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਮੌਤ ਨੇ ਫੈਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda passed away on Wednesday at Fortis Hospital in Mohali. He was 35 years old and had been seriously injured in a road accident near Baddi in Himachal Pradesh on September 27. At the time of the accident, he was riding his motorcycle to Shimla when it collided with stray cattle on the road, resulting in severe injuries to his head and spine. For the past 11 days, he had been fighting for his life on a ventilator at the hospital and ultimately breathed his last at 10:55 am due to multiple organ failure.
Fortis Hospital Director Abhijit Singh has confirmed the death of Rajvir Jawanda. The news of his demise has sent shockwaves through the Punjabi music and film industry. Rajvir Jawanda's wife had asked him not to ride the motorcycle on the day of the accident, but he did not listen. The hospital has handed over the mortal remains to the family and increased police force as a precaution. The body was first brought to his residence in Sector 71, Mohali, and then taken to Civil Hospital for postmortem. The last rites will be performed on Thursday at his ancestral village Pona near Jagraon.
Rajvir Jawanda was a resident of Pona village near Jagraon in Ludhiana district and lived in Mohali. He had previously served in the Punjab Police and later pursued music after completing his postgraduate studies at Punjabi University. He gained immense popularity for songs like 'Tu Dis Paenda', 'Khush Reha Kar', 'Sardari', 'Surname', 'Offreen', 'Zamindar', 'Down to Earth', and 'Kangni'. He also acted in films such as 'Subedar Joginder Singh' with Gippy Grewal in 2018, 'Jind Jaan', and 'Mindo Taseeldarni' in 2019. His sudden death has left fans devastated.
Upon hearing the news of the death, many celebrities rushed to the hospital and shared condolences with the family. People like Kanwar Grewal, Resham Anmol, Harf Cheema, Karamjit Anmol, Rupinder Handa, BN Sharma, and Prakash Gadhu arrived to offer support. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Amarinder Raja Warring, Balbir Sidhu, Neeru Bajwa, Ammy Virk, Gippy Grewal, Sonam Bajwa, Tarsem Jassar, Binnu Dhillon, and Ranjit Bawa expressed grief on social media. Singer Jasbir Jassi also confirmed the news and informed fans that Rajvir Jawanda is no more. Many people have consoled his wife and family.
