ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ: ਵੋਟ ਚੋਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ, ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਪੱਕੇ ਸਬੂਤ
ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੋਟ ਚੋਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਕੋਲ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਪੱਕੇ ਸਬੂਤ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼, ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੜਬੜੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ। ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੇਬੁਨਿਆਦ ਦੱਸ ਕੇ ਖਾਰਜ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ, 1 ਅਗਸਤ 2025 ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਦੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੱਡਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ (ਭਾਜਪਾ) ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਵੋਟ ਚੋਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਕੋਲ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਪੱਕੇ ਸਬੂਤ ਹਨ। ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਬੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ "ਐਟਮ ਬੰਬ" ਦੀ ਸੰਜਞਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਸਬੂਤ ਜਨਤਕ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਮੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਣ ਬੇਨਿਯਮੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 2024 ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗੜਬੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਮਿਲੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੋਟਰ ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇ ਸੋਧ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਵੋਟਰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਲੱਗੇ। ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਸਾਡੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਲੇ ਸਬੂਤ ਇੰਨੇ ਪੱਕੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਪੋਲ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦੇਣਗੇ।”
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵੋਟ ਚੋਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਖਸ਼ਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਚਾਹੇ ਉਹ ਸੇਵਾਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਲੁਕਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨ। ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ਧ੍ਰੋਹ ਦੀ ਸੰਜਞਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕੰਮ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਜਮਹੂਰੀਅਤ ਨੂੰ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਬੂਤ ਜਨਤਕ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੂਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ “ਬੇਬੁਨਿਆਦ” ਦੱਸਦਿਆਂ ਖਾਰਜ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਟਿੱਪਣੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਜ਼ਰਅੰਦਾਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਪੱਖਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਧਮਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, made a significant claim on Friday, August 1, 2025, during a press conference at the Parliament complex. He alleged that the Election Commission is involved in vote theft to favor the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and that the Congress party has solid proof, which he described as an “atom bomb.” Gandhi stated that once this proof is made public, the Election Commission will face severe embarrassment.
Gandhi revealed that the Congress party first suspected electoral irregularities during the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections last year. These suspicions grew stronger during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and the Maharashtra Assembly elections. He claimed that in Maharashtra, the voter list was extensively manipulated, with crores of voters added, and the Election Commission failed to investigate. As a result, Congress conducted its own investigation, which took six months. Gandhi said, “The proof we have uncovered is so solid that it will expose the Election Commission’s role in vote theft.”
He issued a stern warning to Election Commission officials, stating that anyone involved in vote theft will not be spared, regardless of whether they are retired or attempt to hide. Gandhi labeled these actions as treason, arguing that they undermine India’s democracy. He emphasized that once the proof is revealed, the entire country will know that the Election Commission worked in favor of the BJP.
The Election Commission dismissed Rahul Gandhi’s allegations as “baseless” and instructed its officials to ignore such “irresponsible remarks.” The Commission stated that it continues to operate transparently despite such accusations and threats, urging its officials to maintain impartiality.
