ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕੀਤਾ, ਪੰਜ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੰਜ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਛੇ ਪਿਸਤੌਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ 1 ਕਿਲੋ 10 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ। ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਡਰੋਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਹੈਂਡਲਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਐੱਨਡੀਪੀਐੱਸ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਮਜ਼ ਐਕਟ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪੂਰਾ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ 'ਤੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਤੋਂ ਛੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਪਿਸਤੌਲਾਂ—ਪੰਜ .30 ਬੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਗਲਾਕ 9mm—ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ 1 ਕਿਲੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ 10 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਮਸੀਹ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸ, ਦੋਵੇਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਰੂਰਲ ਦੇ ਪੰਡੋਰੀ ਗਾਂਵ ਦੇ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ; ਕਰਨਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਪਨਾਮ ਕਰਨ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਰੂਰਲ ਦੇ ਚੌਗਵਾਂ ਗਾਂਵ ਦਾ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ; ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਰੂਰਲ ਦੇ ਹੇਟੰਪੁਰਾ ਗਾਂਵ ਦਾ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ; ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਭੇਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਪਨਾਮ ਭੇਜਾ, ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਾਹੀਆਂ ਗਾਂਵ ਦਾ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ 16 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2025 ਨੂੰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਗੌਰਵ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਐਕਸ (ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਟਵਿੱਟਰ) ਤੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਖੁਫੀਆ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ 'ਤੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰੇਟ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਤੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਛੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਪਿਸਤੌਲਾਂ (ਪੰਜ .30 ਬੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਗਲਾਕ 9mm) ਅਤੇ 1 ਕਿਲੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ 10 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਮੁਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੈਂਡਲਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਅਪਲੀਕੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਡਰੋਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਜਾਇਜ਼ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਲੀਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੈਂਗ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਣਾਅ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਰਸਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਅਪਰਾਧੀ ਤੱਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੰਡ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਚੇਹਰਟਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਂਟੋਨਮੈਂਟ ਥਾਣਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਰਮਜ਼ ਐਕਟ ਅਤੇ ਐੱਨਡੀਪੀਐੱਸ ਐਕਟ ਤਹਿਤ ਐੱਫਆਈਆਰ ਨੰਬਰ 238 ਅਤੇ 239 ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਹੋਰ ਹੈਂਡਲਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਚ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਗੌਰਵ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਪਾਰ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਤਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਖਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸਰਹੱਦੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਸਾਬਿਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
The Punjab Police, acting on intelligence inputs, has dismantled a Pakistan-linked arms and drug smuggling network in Amritsar. In this operation, five individuals were arrested, and six sophisticated pistols—five .30 bore and one Glock 9mm—along with 1 kilogram 10 grams of heroin were recovered from their possession. The arrested accused have been identified as Akash Masih and Prince, both residents of Pandori village in Amritsar Rural; Karanbir Singh alias Karan, a resident of Chaugawan village in Amritsar Rural; Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of Hetampura village in Amritsar Rural; and Gurbhej Singh alias Bheja, a resident of Lahian village in Tarn Taran. This action was carried out by the Amritsar Commissionerate Police on November 16, 2025. DGP Punjab Police Gaurav Yadav posted on X (formerly Twitter) stating that the Amritsar Commissionerate Police has dismantled the Pakistan-linked arms and narcotics network, arresting five persons. He mentioned that six sophisticated pistols (five .30 bore and one Glock 9mm) and 1 kilogram 10 grams of heroin have been recovered. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the arrested accused were in contact with Pakistan-based handlers via social media applications and drones. They were coordinating the movement and delivery of illegal weapons and narcotics within Punjab. These networks were being used to fuel tensions among rival gangs. Amritsar Commissioner Gurpreet Bhullar stated that the arrested individuals were further distributing the weapon consignments to criminal elements. FIRs under the Arms Act and NDPS Act, numbered 238 and 239, have been registered at Cheharta and Cantonment police stations. The police have continued the investigation to identify additional handlers and dismantle the entire network. DGP Gaurav Yadav said that the Punjab Police is committed to stopping cross-border smuggling and ensuring public safety. He announced that such actions will continue as per the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to make Punjab safe and drug-free. In this way, the Punjab Police's crackdown against arms and drug smuggling networks is ongoing, and this operation is proving significant in reducing crime in the border area.
