ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦਾ ਏਜੰਟ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਨਾਲ ਰੂਸ ਭੇਜਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ 19 ਸਾਲ ਬਾਅਦ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ
ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਦੇ ਏਜੰਟ ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ 19 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ’ਤੇ ਰੂਸ ਭੇਜਣ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜੋ 2006 ਵਿੱਚ ਭਗੌੜਾ ਐਲਾਨਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਤ ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ’ਤੇ ਯੂਰਪ ਭੇਜਣ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਉਣ ’ਤੇ ਉਹ ਰੂਪੋਸ਼ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।
ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜਣ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਏਜੰਟ ਨੂੰ ਲਗਭਗ ਦੋ ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਏਜੰਟ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ’ਤੇ ਰੂਸ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਲਾਪਤਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਅਦਾਲਤ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭਗੌੜਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। 19 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਏਜੰਟ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਗੰਡੀਵਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਹੁਣ 64 ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 2006 ਵਿੱਚ ਇਮੀਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਗੌੜਾ ਐਲਾਨਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪੁલੀਸ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਗੁਪਤ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ’ਤੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਫਰਵਰੀ 2006 ਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਜੀ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਦੀ ਵਜ੍ਹਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਮਾਸਕੋ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਭਾਰਤ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਉਸ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਕੌਮਾਂਤਰੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਯੂਰਪ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਫੋਟੋ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾਂਦੀ। ਇਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਮੋਗਾ ਦੇ ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ। ਹਰਜੀਤ ਨੇ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਏਜੰਟ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜਣ ਲਈ ਸੱਤ ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ। ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਹਰਜੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੇ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ’ਤੇ ਯੂਰਪ ਭੇਜੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ, ਤਾਂ ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

The Delhi Police have arrested a Punjab agent involved in immigration fraud, nearly two decades after he went absconding for facilitating travel to Russia using fake passports. The agent, identified as Baldev Singh from Gandiwind village in Tarn Taran district, was declared a fugitive by the court in 2006. Now 64 years old, he was apprehended by a special team of the Delhi Police in Delhi based on confidential information, marking a significant breakthrough in the fake passport case.
According to details, the case dates back to February 2006 when an Indian traveler was deported from Moscow due to a fake passport. Subsequently, this individual, identified as Harjeet Singh from Moga, attempted to travel to Europe from Delhi’s international airport using a fraudulent passport. Authorities investigated and found that the photo on the passport did not match Harjeet Singh’s identity. During questioning, Harjeet revealed that he had paid seven lakh rupees to an agent named Baldev Singh, who promised to send him to Europe using someone else’s passport. When the immigration fraud came to light, Harjeet Singh was arrested and sent to jail.
Following the incident, Baldev Singh went into hiding. The police conducted multiple raids across Punjab to locate him, but no trace was found. Eventually, the court declared him a fugitive. After 19 years, the Delhi Police’s special team, acting on confidential information, successfully arrested Baldev Singh in Delhi. This arrest is a major achievement in combating fake passport schemes and immigration fraud. It also underscores the importance of national security and adherence to international immigration regulations.
