ਅਗਲੀਆਂ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਕੱਟ ਖਤਮ, ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ
ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵੰਡ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਗਲੀਆਂ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਕੱਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ 24 ਘੰਟੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। 5,000 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਅਧੀਨ 25,000 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਤਾਰਾਂ, 8,000 ਟ੍ਰਾਂਸਫਾਰਮਰ ਅਤੇ 77 ਸਬ-ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪੂਰੇ ਦਿਨ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੀਆਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨਾ ਸੁਧਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ 90 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਕਨਵੀਨਰ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੀਆਂ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਕੱਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵੰਡ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ ਇਕੱਠ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ 5,000 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਰੋਸ਼ਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਅਧੀਨ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਵੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੈ।
ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਕਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਕਈ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਤੇ ਸਬ-ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ, ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਢਾਂਚਾ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਘਨ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਦੇ ਸੁਧਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 25,000 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਛਾਉਣ, 8,000 ਨਵੇਂ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਟ੍ਰਾਂਸਫਾਰਮਰ ਅਤੇ 77 ਨਵੇਂ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਸਬ-ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਵੋਲਟੇਜ ਵਿਚਲਨ ਵੀ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਅਗਲੀਆਂ ਗਰਮੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਕੱਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗੇਗਾ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ 90 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮਿਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੰਚਾਈ ਲਈ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ 8 ਘੰਟੇ ਭਰੋਸੇਯੋਗ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਮਿਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਪੂਰੇ ਦਿਨ ਲਈ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਹੁਣ ਅਗਲੇ ਕਦਮ ਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਪਏ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ 24 ਘੰਟੇ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੀਆਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ-ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਵੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਠਹਿਰਾਇਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ 13 ਮਿਊਨੀਸੀਪਲ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੱਟ ਤਣਾਅ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਧਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੇ ਖੰਭਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬੇਕਾਰ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਹਟਾਉਣ, ਘੱਟ ਲਟਕੀਆਂ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰਨ, ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਤਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਮੀਟਰ ਬਾਕਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
Aam Aadmi Party's national convener Arvind Kejriwal said on Wednesday in Jalandhar that major reforms are being carried out in the power sector in Punjab and there will be no power cuts from next summer. He was addressing a gathering after laying the foundation stone of the power transmission and distribution unit. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was also present at the event. This project is worth Rs 5,000 crore under the Roshan Punjab mission and aims to strengthen the power distribution and transmission network.
Kejriwal said that there is no shortage of electricity in Punjab but in many places, substations, power lines, and other infrastructure have become outdated, leading to interruptions in power supply. He explained that the infrastructure upgrades include laying 25,000 kilometers of new power lines, installing 8,000 new electric transformers, and 77 new power substations. This will also eliminate voltage fluctuations and modernize the entire system. Kejriwal promised that there will be no power cuts in Punjab during the next summer.
He stated that 90 percent of people in Punjab are receiving free electricity and farmers in Punjab are getting at least 8 hours of reliable electricity for irrigation, which will soon be extended to a full day. Kejriwal said that they have now moved to the next step where the power supply should be 24 hours. He held the previous Congress and Akali-BJP governments responsible for not improving the power distribution and transmission network. Additionally, a project has been launched to improve the low tension network in 13 municipal corporations, which includes removing unnecessary wires from electric poles, raising low-hanging wires, replacing old wires, and sealing open meter boxes for public safety.
