ਹੜ੍ਹ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ’ਚ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਹੈਲਥ ਕਿੱਟਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕੈਂਪ - ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਖਾਰ, ਪੇਚਿਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਚਮੜੀ ਦੇ ਰੋਗ ਵਧਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕੈਂਪ ਅਤੇ ਹੈਲਥ ਕਿੱਟਾਂ ਵੰਡਣ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ। 2101 ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 1.42 ਲੱਖ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ 2.47 ਲੱਖ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ। ਸਫਾਈ, ਫੌਗਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਜ ਦੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਣੀ ਘਟਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਖਾਰ, ਪੇਚਿਸ਼, ਚਮੜੀ ਦੇ ਰੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਲਾਗ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਖਤ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ’ਤੇ ਹੋਈ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕੈਂਪ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਉਤਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਫੈਲਣ ਦਾ ਖਤਰਾ ਵਧ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ 2101 ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕੈਂਪ ਲਗਾਏ ਹਨ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ 1.42 ਲੱਖ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 19,187 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਖਾਰ, 4,544 ਨੂੰ ਪੇਚਿਸ਼, 22,118 ਨੂੰ ਚਮੜੀ ਦੇ ਰੋਗ ਅਤੇ 10,304 ਨੂੰ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਲਾਗ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਰੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਫਤ ਇਲਾਜ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਆਸ਼ਾ ਵਰਕਰ ਹਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਹੈਲਥ ਕਿੱਟਾਂ ਵੰਡਣ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਕਿੱਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਓਆਰਐਸ, ਮੱਛਰ ਮਾਰ ਦਵਾਈ, ਪੈਰਾਸੀਟਾਮੋਲ, ਸਿਟਰਾਜ਼ਿਨ, ਕਲੋਰੀਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ, ਸਾਬਣ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਦਵਾਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ 2.47 ਲੱਖ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਕਿੱਟਾਂ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਈਆਂ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ 20 ਸਤੰਬਰ 2025 ਤੱਕ ਸਾਰੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਟੀਚਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ, ਮੱਛਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ 21 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਫੌਗਿੰਗ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਹੜ੍ਹ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 14,780 ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਇਲਾਜ ਅਤੇ 48,535 ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਫਤ ਟੀਕਾਕਰਨ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ। ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਹਟਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ, ਗਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਛੱਪੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਫਾਈ ’ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 21 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਫਾਈ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੰਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਨਿਕਾਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੀਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਸਫਾਈ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਈਪਲਾਈਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੀਕੇਜ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਠੀਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਟੈਸਟਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਕਲੋਰੀਨੇਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਯਮਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਰੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਝਾਅ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਖੁਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੋਟਾਸ਼ੀਅਮ ਪਰਮੈਗਨਾਈਟ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਫ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਰਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਥਰਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ।
In Punjab’s flood-affected areas, people are facing diseases like fever, dysentery, skin infections, and eye infections after floodwaters receded. To address this, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has issued strict instructions to the health department and other officials. During a meeting at his official residence in Chandigarh, he directed authorities to intensify medical camps and health check-ups in flood-hit districts.
The Chief Minister stated that the risk of diseases spreading has increased as floodwaters have receded. The government has set up medical camps in 2,101 villages, where 1.42 lakh people have been examined so far. Of these, 19,187 people were diagnosed with fever, 4,544 with dysentery, 22,118 with skin diseases, and 10,304 with eye infections. The health department is providing free treatment to these patients.
Mann ordered ASHA workers to distribute health kits door-to-door in every village. These kits include ORS, mosquito repellent, paracetamol, cetirizine, chlorine tablets, soap, and other essential medicines. So far, 2.47 lakh households have received these kits, with a target to cover all homes by September 20, 2025. Additionally, a 21-day fogging campaign has been launched to control mosquitoes.
The health of livestock is also being prioritized. In flood-affected areas, 14,780 animals have been treated, and 48,535 have received free vaccinations. The remains of dead animals are being disposed of safely. The Chief Minister emphasized the need for village, street, and pond cleaning, stating that all sanitation work must be completed by September 21. He also ordered proper drainage of stagnant water and ensured clean drinking water supply through regular testing and chlorination. Water pipeline leakages must be fixed immediately.
Mann instructed all departments to coordinate and provide maximum assistance to flood-affected people. He advised farmers to clean animal hooves with potassium permanganate and keep cattle sheds hygienic.
