ਕਮਲ ਕੌਰ ਭਾਬੀ ਕਤਲ ਕੇਸ: ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਯੂਏਈ ਭੱਜਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ’ਚ
ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ’ਚ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਇਨਫਲੂਐਂਸਰ ਕੰਚਨ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਮਲ ਕੌਰ ਭਾਬੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਹਿਰੋਂ ਯੂਏਈ ਭੱਜ ਗਿਆ। ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੁੱਕਆਊਟ ਸਰਕੂਲਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਪੋਰਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਦੋ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਜਾਂਚ ’ਚ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਕਤਲ ਦੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਤਿੰਨ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
ਨਿਹੰਗ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਹਿਰੋਂ, ਜੋ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਇਨਫਲੂਐਂਸਰ ਕੰਚਨ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਉਰਫ਼ ਕਮਲ ਕੌਰ ਭਾਬੀ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਹੈ, ਨੇ ਕਤਲ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਉਡਾਣ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਯੂਏਈ ਭੱਜਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਦੀ ਐੱਸਐੱਸਪੀ ਅਮਨੀਤ ਕੌਂਡਲ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਨਿੱਚਰਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਹਿਰੋਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੁੱਕਆਊਟ ਸਰਕੂਲਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਭੱਜ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਐੱਸਐੱਸਪੀ ਅਮਨੀਤ ਕੌਂਡਲ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਦੇ ਪਾਸਪੋਰਟ ਵੇਰਵੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ, ਤਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕਮਲ ਕੌਰ ਭਾਬੀ ਦੀ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਯੂਏਈ ਭੱਜ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਸੀਂ ਹੁਣ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਯੂਏਈ ਤੋਂ ਡਿਪੋਰਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਲਈ ਕਾਗਜ਼ੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਯੂਏਈ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੂਚਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਇੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਕਤਲ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋੜੀਂਦਾ ਹੈ।”
ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ, ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਸੋਹਲ ਦੇ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ, ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਐੱਫਆਈਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਐੱਸਐੱਸਪੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਲ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੱਜਣ ’ਚ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜਨ ਲਈ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ, ਨਿਮਰਤਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਦੀ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮਿਲੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੋ ਦਿਨਾ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਰਿਮਾਂਡ ਅੱਜ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਲਈ ਵਾਧੂ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ।”
ਐੱਸਐੱਸਪੀ ਅਮਨੀਤ ਕੌਂਡਲ ਨੇ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਜਾਂਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਹਿਰੋਂ ਨੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕੰਚਨ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਮਲ ਕੌਰ ਭਾਬੀ ਦੀ ਜਾਸੂਸੀ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਪੁਲੀਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਕੰਚਨ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਪਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਹੀ ਰੇਕੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਟਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਠਹਿਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕੀਤੀ।” ਇਸ ਕਤਲ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਕੁੱਲ ਪੰਜ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਸਬੂਤ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੈ।
ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੰਚਨ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ਉਰਫ਼ ਕਮਲ ਕੌਰ ਭਾਬੀ ਦੀ ਸੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਲਾਸ਼ ਸ਼ੁੱਕਰਵਾਰ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ-ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਹਾਈਵੇਅ ’ਤੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਖੜ੍ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਪਿਛਲੀ ਸੀਟ ’ਤੇ ਮਿਲੀ ਸੀ।
Nihang Amritpal Singh Mehron, the prime accused in the murder case of social media influencer Kanchan Kumari, also known as Kamal Kaur Bhabhi, fled to the UAE hours after the crime by taking a flight from Amritsar airport. This was revealed by Bathinda’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Amneet Kondal. The Bathinda Police issued a lookout circular against Amritpal Singh Mehron on Saturday, suspecting he might attempt to flee the country.
SSP Amneet Kondal said, “When we obtained Amritpal Singh Mehron’s passport details and checked his travel records, we found that he had fled to the UAE after murdering Kamal Kaur Bhabhi. We have now initiated paperwork for his deportation from the UAE. We have informed UAE authorities that Amritpal Singh is wanted in a murder case here.”
The police claimed that two of Amritpal’s associates, Ranjit Singh from Sohal village in Tarn Taran district and an unidentified person, have also been named in the FIR. The SSP added, “They helped Amritpal Singh Mehron escape in a car after the crime. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend them. We obtained this information during the interrogation of Amritpal’s two associates, Nimratjit Singh and Jaspreet Singh, whose two-day police remand ends today. We will seek further police custody for their interrogation.”
SSP Amneet Kondal revealed that the investigation uncovered that Amritpal Singh Mehron had planned the murder case of Kanchan Kumari three months in advance. He conducted surveillance on Kamal Kaur Bhabhi in Ludhiana with his associates. The police officer further said, “Kanchan Kumari was a resident of Ludhiana, and Amritpal Singh Mehron and his associates stayed in a hotel near her residence to conduct proper reconnaissance.” So far, a case has been registered against five individuals in this murder case, and they are also accused of destroying evidence.
Notably, Kanchan Kumari, alias Kamal Kaur Bhabhi’s decomposed body was found on Friday night on the rear seat of a car parked outside Adesh University along the Bathinda-Chandigarh highway.
