ਇਰਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਏ ਗਏ 8 ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮਲਾਹਾਂ (sailors) ਨੂੰ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਮਲਾਹ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਰਾਨੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਹੇਠ ਸਨ। ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੂਟਨੀਤਕ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਸਦਕਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਈ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੋ ਸਕੀ ਹੈ। ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਮਲਾਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਲਦ ਹੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਵਾਪਸ ਪਰਤਣਗੇ
