ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ: ਨਨਕਾਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਸਜਾਇਆ
ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨਨਕਾਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਜਨਮ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। 1200 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਰੌਣਕ ਵਧਾਈ।
ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਬਾਨੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਅੱਜ ਭਾਰਤ, ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਨਕਾਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਸਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਰ ਰਾਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਖੰਡ ਪਾਠ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਭੋਗ ਪਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ 556ਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਗੁਰਪੁਰਬ ਮੌਕੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਜਨਮ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਨਨਕਾਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਇਆ।
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਰੀ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੜਗੱਜ, ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਬੀਬੀ ਗੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਤੇ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੂਹ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਪਾਵਨ ਸਰੂਪ ਪਾਲਕੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਸ਼ੋਭਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਨਨਕਾਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਲੰਬਾ ਲਾਲ ਗਲੀਚਾ ਵਿਛਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਜੈਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗੂੰਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੰਘ ਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ।
ਪੀਐਸਜੀਪੀਸੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਰਮੇਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਰੋੜਾ, ਔਕਾਫ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਰਹੇ। ਭਾਰਤ ਤੋਂ ਆਈ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕੀਤੀ। 1200 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਏ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਨਨਕਾਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੌਣਕ ਵਧਾਈ। ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਗੜਗੱਜ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਜਨਮ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਤੰਬੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਤੇ ਛੇਵੀਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ, ਮਾਲ ਜੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੇ ਕਿਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੱਕ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਭਾਰਤ, ਬਰਤਾਨੀਆ, ਅਮਰੀਕਾ, ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ ਲੇਵਾ ਸਿੰਧੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੇ ਭਰਵੀਂ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
The Prakash Purab of the founder of Sikhism, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, was celebrated today with devotion and enthusiasm in India, Pakistan, and other countries. In Pakistan, a Nagar Kirtan was organized in the morning at Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, and the Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib will be held late at night. On the occasion of Guru Sahib's 556th Prakash Gurpurab, the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee started the Nagar Kirtan from Gurdwara Janam Asthan Sri Nankana Sahib.
Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, Shiromani Committee leaders Bibi Gurinder Kaur and Gurmeet Singh Booh participated in the Nagar Kirtan with a large congregation. Jathedar Gargaj adorned the holy Saroop of Sri Guru Granth Sahib in the Palki Sahib. The Nagar Kirtan commenced under the leadership of the Panj Pyare Sahiban. A two-kilometer-long red carpet was laid in the main market of Nankana Sahib. Amidst resounding Jaikaras, the Nagar Kirtan passed through various markets and returned to Gurdwara Sahib.
PSGPC President Ramesh Singh Arora, Auqaf Board officials, and members of the management committee were present. Sikh Sangat from India also participated in the Nagar Kirtan. Over 1200 Indian pilgrims and devotees from other countries created a vibrant atmosphere in Nankana Sahib. Jathedar Gargaj participated with the Sangat in the Nagar Kirtan from Gurdwara Janam Asthan to Gurdwara Tambu Sahib, Panjvi te Chhevin Patshahi, Mal Ji Sahib, and Kiara Sahib. Sikh Sangat from India, Britain, America, Malaysia, and other countries, along with a large number of Guru Nanak Naam Leva Sindhi Sangat, participated enthusiastically.
