ਕਿਸਾਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁਤਲੇ ਸਾੜੇ ਗਏ
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ (ਏਕਤਾ ਉਗਰਾਹਾਂ) ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ 16 ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 26 ਥਾਵਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁਤਲੇ ਸਾੜ ਕੇ ਰੋਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਨਿਖੇਧੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੋੜਫੋੜੇ ਗਏ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਦਾ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ (ਏਕਤਾ ਉਗਰਾਹਾਂ) ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ 16 ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 26 ਥਾਵਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁਤਲੇ ਸਾੜੇ। ਇਸ ਰੋਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੰਭੂ ਅਤੇ ਖਨੌਰੀ ਮੋਰਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਲਈ ਸੱਦ ਕੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਰਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਦੇੜਨ ਲਈ ਲਾਠੀਚਾਰਜ ਤੇ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਤੋੜਫੋੜ ਦੀ ਨਿਖੇਧੀ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜੋਗਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਗਰਾਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਮੀਤ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਝੰਡਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੇਠੂਕੇ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ 13 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੋਰਚਿਆਂ ’ਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਕੀ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ 7ਵੇਂ ਗੇੜ ਮੌਕੇ ਵੀ ਟਾਲਮਟੋਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਹਾਈਵੇਅ ਜਾਮ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਵਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਬਹਾਨੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਲਾਠੀਚਾਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਸਣੇ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਜਮਹੂਰੀਅਤ ਦਾ ਘਾਤਕ ਹੈ।
ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੋਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਪਾਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਖੇਤੀ ਮੰਡੀ ਨੀਤੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰੀਕਨ ਸਾਮਰਾਜ ਨਾਲ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਵਪਾਰ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਰਗੇ ਸਾਮਰਾਜ-ਪੱਖੀ ਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ-ਮਾਰੂ ਕਾਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਡਟੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ’ਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੀ ਮੁੱਖ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ। ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਜਲ, ਜੰਗਲ, ਜ਼ਮੀਨਾਂ, ਜਨਤਕ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਸਣੇ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਸੋਮੇ ਸਾਮਰਾਜੀ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਟਾਂ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਰਲੋ-ਮੱਛੀ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ, ਖੇਤ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰਾਂ, ਸਨਅਤੀ ਕਾਮਿਆਂ ਸਣੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਵਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਉਜਾੜਾ ਤੇ ਭੁੱਖਮਰੀ ਤੈਅ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੋਰਚਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਾਮਾਨ ਜਾਂ ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਤੋੜਫੋੜ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵੇ।.
The Bharatiya Kisan Union (Ekta Ugrahan) burned effigies of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann at 26 locations across 16 districts in Punjab. During this protest, leaders condemned the arrest of key leaders from the Shambhu and Khanauri morchas under the pretext of talks, as well as the use of baton charges and vandalism to disperse the protests.
Union President Joginder Singh Ugrahan and Senior Vice President Jhanda Singh Jethuke alleged that the central government has been procrastinating on accepting the legitimate demands of farmers who have been protesting for over 13 months. They criticized the baton charges used to clear highway blockades and the arrest of hundreds of farmers, including key union leaders, terming it a blow to democracy.
The farmer leaders stated that they will continue to oppose the pro-imperialist and anti-farmer actions of the Modi government, such as implementing open trade agricultural market policies and entering into open trade agreements with American imperialists. They noted that the Punjab government is also eager to play a central role in handing over resources like water, forests, lands, and public services to imperialist corporations. They warned that the implementation of these policies would lead to the displacement and starvation of farmers, agricultural laborers, industrial workers, and small traders.
They demanded that the state government immediately release all arrested leaders and provide full compensation for the vandalized goods and vehicles seized from the protest sites.
