ਡੇਰਾ ਬਿਆਸ ਮੁਖੀ ਨੇ ਨਾਭਾ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ
ਡੇਰਾ ਬਿਆਸ ਮੁਖੀ ਗੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਨਾਭਾ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਦ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਆਗੂ ਬਿਕਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਧੇ ਘੰਟੇ ਦੀ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜੋ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੋਈ। ਇਸ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਰਚਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਦਕਿ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੀ। ਡੇਰਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਨੇ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਭਾ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਡੇਰਾ ਬਿਆਸ ਮੁਖੀ ਗੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਨਾਭਾ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੰਦ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬਿਕਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਹ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਲਗਭਗ ਅੱਧੇ ਘੰਟੇ ਚੱਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈ। ਡੇਰਾ ਬਿਆਸ ਮੁਖੀ ਸਵੇਰੇ 11 ਵਜੇ ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਅਤੇ ਬੈਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਡੇਰਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਨੇ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਨਾਭਾ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ਜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਹੀਰਾ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ ਤੇ ਗਏ।
ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਡੇਰਾ ਬਿਆਸ ਮੁਖੀ ਬਿਕਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਗਨੀਵ ਕੌਰ ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਹਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਪਰ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਮੈਨੂਅਲ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਬਿਕਰਮ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੂੰ ਲਗਭਗ 10 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੇਰਾ ਬਿਆਸ ਮੁਖੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਬਿਕਰਮ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੀਮਾ, ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਲੂਕਾ, ਮਹੇਸ਼ ਇੰਦਰ ਗਰੇਵਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰਸਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਲਟੋਹਾ ਵਰਗੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਹੀ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਨੇ ਨਾਭਾ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਕਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਡੇਰਾ ਬਿਆਸ ਮੁਖੀ ਦੀ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਅਤੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਰਚਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮਜੀਠੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਜੁਲਾਬੰਦੀ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਅਸਾਧਾਰਨ ਸੰਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
Dera Beas chief Gurinder Singh Dhillon met Akali leader and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia, who is lodged in Nabha jail, today. This meeting lasted about half an hour and took place in a high-security area. The Dera Beas chief arrived at the jail around 11 AM in his car and spoke privately with Majithia in the barrack. After the meeting, the Dera chief also met the people gathered outside the jail and talked to them. Following that, he went to Hira Mahal, the residence of the descendants of Nabha's royal family, to meet them.
It is noteworthy that Dera Beas chief is a relative of Bikram Singh Majithia's wife, Ganieve Kaur, which is why the jail administration granted permission for the meeting. According to the jail manual, anyone can meet Bikram Singh Majithia, but the family has submitted a list of about 10 people to the jail administration, including the name of Dera Beas chief. However, the jail administration has not yet allowed senior leaders of the Shiromani Akali Dal to meet Bikram Singh Majithia. In recent days, leaders like Daljit Singh Cheema, Sikander Singh Maluka, Mahesh Inder Grewal, and Virsa Singh Valtoha were turned back from outside the jail, stating that only relatives can meet. This meeting between Dera Beas chief and Bikram Singh Majithia in Nabha jail has sparked discussions in political and religious circles, as Majithia is imprisoned in a disproportionate assets case linked to a drugs-related matter in Punjab politics.
