ਦਿੱਲੀ 'ਚ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ: ਹਵਾ 'ਗੰਭੀਰ' ਹੋਣ 'ਤੇ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ
ਕੌਮੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਬੇਹੱਦ ਗੰਭੀਰ' ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਹਿਮ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦਾ ਹਾਈਬ੍ਰਿਡ ਮੋਡ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਮੋਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਦੋ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ CAQM ਵੱਲੋਂ GRAP-IV ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ, ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਹਿਰੀਲੇ ਧੂੰਏਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਚਾਦਰ ਛਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਾਹ ਦੇ ਮਰੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵਧ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ
ਕੌਮੀ ਰਾਜਧਾਨੀ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ (Pollution) ਦਾ ਪੱਧਰ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਗੰਭੀਰ (Severe) ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ, ਦਿੱਲੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਮੋਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਧੂੰਏਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਚਾਦਰ ਛਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਸਾਹ ਲੈਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਰੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਵਾਧਾ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਫਾਰ ਏਅਰ ਕੁਆਲਿਟੀ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ (CAQM) ਨੇ ਹਵਾ ਦੀ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ (Air Quality) ਦੇ ਖ਼ਤਰਨਾਕ ਪੱਧਰ 'ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਗ੍ਰੇਡਿਡ ਰਿਸਪਾਂਸ ਐਕਸ਼ਨ ਪਲਾਨ (GRAP-IV) ਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਦਿੱਲੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਹੁਣ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਸਕੂਲਹਾਈਬ੍ਰਿਡ ਮੋਡ (ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਜਾਂ ਆਫਲਾਈਨ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਸੀ) ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਕਲਾਸਾਂ ਹੀ ਚਲਾਉਣਗੇ।
ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਦੇ ਵਧਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਦੇ ਤਰੀਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਦੂਸ਼ਣ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਸੰਕਟ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਨੂੰ, ਸਗੋਂ ਪਾਲਤੂ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ
The level of pollution in the National Capital Delhi has once again reached an extremely severe situation. Due to this, the Delhi Government has taken a crucial decision. All schools have been instructed to switch from the hybrid mode of study to the online mode immediately for students up to Class 5, prioritizing their health. This decision comes as a dense blanket of smog continues to cover Delhi, leading to a sharp increase in the number of patients suffering from respiratory illnesses.
Previously, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) had imposed restrictions under Phase IV of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP-IV) due to the hazardous level of air quality. Under the latest Delhi Government orders, schools up to Class 5 will now conduct only online classes instead of the hybrid mode (which allowed schools the option of online or offline study).
The public had also protested against the rising pollution in Delhi and the government's handling of the situation, following which the government took this step. The pollution crisis is causing difficulties not only for human health but also for pets and domestic animals.
