ਰੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਨੇ 79 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰੋੜ ਦੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਤੇ ਸੈਨਿਕ ਸਾਜ਼ੋ-ਸਾਮਾਨ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ
ਰੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਨੇ 79 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀਆਂ ਖਰੀਦ ਤਜਵੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਲਈ ਲੈਂਡਿੰਗ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਡੌਕਸ, ਹਲਕੇ ਤਾਰਪੀਡੋ, 30 ਐਮਐਮ ਗੰਨ ਤੇ ਥਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਲਈ ਨਾਗ ਮਿਜ਼ਾਈਲ ਸਿਸਟਮ, ਨਿਗਰਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਫੌਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੰਗੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਵਧੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ 'ਤੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਡੀਏਸੀ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਰਾਜਨਾਥ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ।
ਰੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੰਗੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ 79 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀਆਂ ਖਰੀਦ ਤਜਵੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਰੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਾਜਨਾਥ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਡਿਫੈਂਸ ਐਕੁਜੀਸ਼ਨ ਕੌਂਸਲ (ਡੀਏਸੀ) ਦੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਆਪਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਿੰਧੂਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਦੂਜਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਹੈ। 5 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ 67 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਮਿਲ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਸੀ।
ਡੀਏਸੀ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਲਈ ਲੈਂਡਿੰਗ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਡੌਕਸ ਦੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਲਈ ਏਓਐਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਥਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਸੈਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ amphibious operations ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਵਧੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਬਹਾਲੀ, ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਤੇ ਆਫ਼ਤ ਰਾਹਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਲਈ 30 ਐਮਐਮ ਗੰਨ, ਹਲਕੇ ਤਾਰਪੀਡੋ, ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰੋ ਆਪਟੀਕਲ ਇਨਫਰਾ-ਰੈੱਡ ਸਰਚ ਐਂਡ ਟ੍ਰੈਕ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਅਤੇ 76 ਐਮਐਮ ਸੁਪਰ ਰੈਪਿਡ ਗੰਨ ਲਈ ਗੋਲਾ-ਬਾਰੂਦ ਵੀ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਹਲਕੇ ਤਾਰਪੀਡੋ ਡੀਆਰਡੀਓ ਦੀ ਨੇਵਲ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਐਂਡ ਟੈਕਨੋਲੌਜੀਕਲ ਲੈਬਾਰਟਰੀ ਨੇ ਸਵਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ, ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੂ ਤੇ ਛੋਟੀਆਂ ਪਣਡੁੱਬੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। 30 ਐਮਐਮ ਗੰਨ ਨਾਲ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਵਧੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਤੱਟ ਰੱਖਿਅਕ ਬਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੋਟੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਮਿਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।
ਥਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਲਈ ਨਾਗ ਮਿਜ਼ਾਈਲ ਸਿਸਟਮ, ਬਿਜਲਈ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ ਸਿਸਟਮ, ਨਿਗਰਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਉੱਚ ਗਤੀਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਾਹਨ ਖਰੀਦੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਨਿਗਰਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ 'ਤੇ 24 ਘੰਟੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਰੱਖੀ ਜਾ ਸਕੇਗੀ। ਉੱਚ ਗਤੀਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਾਹਨ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਭੂਗੋਲਿਕ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੌਜਿਸਟਿਕ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਾਉਣਗੇ। ਜੀਬੀਐਮਈਐਸ ਨਾਲ ਫੌਜੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਹਵਾਈ ਸੈਨਾ ਲਈ ਲੰਬੀ ਦੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਟਿੱਚਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸਾਜ਼ੋ-ਸਾਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਨਾਲ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਫੌਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਵਧੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਤਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।
The defence ministry has approved procurement proposals worth 79 thousand crore rupees to boost the combat capabilities of the Indian armed forces. The decision was taken in a meeting of the Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. This is the second major decision on weapons procurement after Operation Sindoor; on 5 August, projects worth 67 thousand crore rupees had already been approved.
The DAC issued an AoN for the Indian Navy to procure Landing Platform Docks, which can conduct amphibious operations in coordination with the Indian Army and Indian Air Force. This will enhance maritime capability and assist in peacekeeping, humanitarian aid, and disaster relief. The Navy will also procure 30 mm guns, light torpedoes, electro optical infra-red search and track systems, and ammunition for 76 mm super rapid guns. The light torpedoes, indigenously developed by DRDO’s Naval Science and Technological Laboratory, can target conventional, nuclear, and small submarines. The 30 mm guns will strengthen the Navy and help coast guard forces in small maritime missions.
For the Indian Army, the Nag missile system, electronic intelligence systems, surveillance systems, and high-mobility vehicles will be procured. Surveillance systems will enable 24-hour monitoring of enemy activities. High-mobility vehicles will provide logistic support in diverse terrains. GBMS will provide information on military movements. The Indian Air Force has also been approved for long-range precision weapons. The procurement of all this military hardware and weapons will enhance the capabilities of all three forces and ensure readiness as per current requirements.
