ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ 'ਚ 4 ਕਿਲੋ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਸਮੇਤ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਸਣੇ 6 ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਹੇਠ ਦੋ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਗਿਰੋਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਛੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ 4 ਕਿਲੋ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੈਵਨਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਵਪਾਰ ਦੀ ਆੜ ਹੇਠ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਅਧਾਰਤ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਡਰੋਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਜਸਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਤਸਕਰ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਉਰਫ਼ ਚੀਤਾ ਦੇ ਗਿਰੋਹ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਐੱਨਡੀਪੀਐੱਸ ਐਕਟ ਹੇਠ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਦੋ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਗਿਰੋਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਦਾਫਾਸ਼ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਛੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ 4 ਕਿਲੋ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਜਨਰਲ ਆਫ਼ ਪੁਲਿਸ (ਡੀਜੀਪੀ) ਗੌਰਵ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ (23), ਦੀਦਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਕਾਲੀ (50), ਸੈਵਨਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ (25), ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਰਫ਼ ਜੀਤਾ (38), ਜੱਜ ਸਿੰਘ (19) ਅਤੇ ਜਸਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ (60) ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਟੋਯੋਟਾ ਇਨੋਵਾ ਕਾਰ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਖੇਪ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ।
ਜਾਂਚ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸੈਵਨਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਪੰਜ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਵਪਾਰ ਦੀ ਆੜ ਹੇਠ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਅਧਾਰਤ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਡਰੋਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੇਪਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਛੁਪਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵੰਡਦਾ ਸੀ।
ਜਸਬੀਰ ਕੌਰ berਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਤਸਕਰ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਉਰਫ਼ ਚੀਤਾ ਦੇ ਗਿਰੋਹ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਅਧਾਰਤ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੇਪਾਂ ਡਰੋਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਐੱਨਡੀਪੀਐੱਸ ਐਕਟ ਹੇਠ ਛੇਹਰਟਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ।
In a significant operation under the anti-drug campaign led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Amritsar Police have busted two international drug trafficking modules, arresting six individuals, including a woman, and seizing 4 kilograms of heroin.
Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav reported that the arrested individuals are Vishal Singh (23), Didar Singh alias Kali (50), Sevenbir Singh (25), Harjit Singh alias Jita (38), Jaj Singh (19), and Jasbir Kaur (60). A Toyota Innova car used for transporting drug consignments was also impounded.
Investigations revealed that Sevenbir Singh had been operating under the guise of livestock trade for the past five years, maintaining direct contact with Pakistan-based smugglers. He received heroin consignments via drones and distributed them through his associates after concealing them at relatives' homes.
Jasbir Kaur was associated with the notorious smuggler Ranjeet alias Cheeta's cartel and had links with cross-border smugglers. She facilitated the receipt of heroin consignments delivered by drones.
The police have registered two separate cases under the NDPS Act at Chheharta Police Station. Further investigations are ongoing, and more arrests are anticipated.
