ਵਕ਼ਫ਼ ਸੋਧ ਬਿੱਲ 'ਤੇ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਵਾਬ: 'ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਖ਼ਲ ਨਹੀਂ'
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸੰਸਦ ਨੇ ਵਕ਼ਫ਼ ਸੋਧ ਬਿੱਲ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ਼ੈਰ-ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸੋਧਾਂ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ੀਤਾ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਹਨ
ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸੰਸਦ ਨੇ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਕ਼ਫ਼ ਸੋਧ ਬਿੱਲ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੇ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਬਿੱਲ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ, ਗ਼ੈਰ-ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਕ਼ਫ਼ ਬੋਰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮੰਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕਾਨੇ 'ਤੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਲਏ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿੱਲ ਦੀ ਵਕਾਲਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸੋਧਾਂ ਵਕ਼ਫ਼ ਸੰਪਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਰਦਰਸ਼ੀ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਂਦੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਖ਼ਲ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਇਰਾਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਝੂਠੀਆਂ ਅਫਵਾਹਾਂ ਫੈਲਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ।
ਬਿੱਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਆਗੂ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਬਿੱਲ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ 'ਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਪਕੜ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਹੈ।
ਸੰਸਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਰਚਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤੇ। ਭਾਜਪਾ ਆਗੂ ਰਵੀ ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਕ਼ਫ਼ ਸੰਪਤੀਆਂ ਖਾਲੀ ਪਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੁੱਟ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕੋਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਯਮਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਹੈ।
The Indian Parliament recently passed the Waqf Amendment Bill, introducing significant changes to the management of Muslim religious endowments. The bill proposes the inclusion of non-Muslim members in Waqf boards and mandates government approval for decisions regarding property ownership.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah advocated for the bill in the Lok Sabha, stating that these amendments aim to ensure transparent administration of Waqf properties and that the government has no intention of interfering in the religious matters of Muslims. He accused the opposition of spreading false rumors.
Opposing the bill, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi termed it an attack on the constitutional rights of Muslims and alleged that it seeks to increase state control over Muslim properties.
During parliamentary discussions, various parties expressed their views. BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad stated that with a large number of Waqf properties lying vacant and being misused, the government has full authority to introduce legislation for their regulation.
