ਭਾਰਤ-ਪਾਕਿ ਤਣਾਅ ਕਾਰਨ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਰੂਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਤਬਦੀਲ
ਭਾਰਤ ਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਤਣਾਅ ਵਧਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਈ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨਾਂ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਲੁਫਾਂਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਏਅਰ ਫਰਾਂਸ, ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਉਡਾਣ ਰੂਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਖੇਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਹਮਲੇ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਲਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਵਧ ਰਹੀ ਤਣਾਅ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਈ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੂਟਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਤਣਾਅ ਜੰਮੂ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲਗਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਏ ਹਾਲੀਆ ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤਗਰਦੀ ਹਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਧੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਰ ਤੀਖਾਪਨ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਜਰਮਨੀ ਦੀ ਲੁਫਾਂਸਾ, ਫਰਾਂਸ ਦੀ ਏਅਰ ਫਰਾਂਸ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਈ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਜਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਲੁਫਾਂਸਾ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨੇ ਰਾਇਟਰਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅਗਲੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਤੱਕ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਖੇਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਹਟ ਕੇ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਚਲਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਵਧਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਫਲਾਈਟ ਟਰੈਕਿੰਗ ਵੈੱਬਸਾਈਟ FlightRadar24 ਦੇ ਅੰਕੜਿਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਫਰੈਂਕਫਰਟ ਤੋਂ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਲੁਫਾਂਸਾ ਫਲਾਈਟ LH760 ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਘੰਟਾ ਵਾਧੂ ਸਮਾਂ ਲੱਗਿਆ। ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਏਅਰਵੇਜ਼, ਅਮੀਰਾਤ, ਸਵਿਸ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨਜ਼ ਵੀ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਖੇਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਰੂਟਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ ਚਲਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਇਸੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਖੇਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਨ, ਵਪਾਰ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਵੀਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਰੋਕ ਲਾਉਣ ਵਰਗੇ ਕਈ ਉਪਾਅ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਉਡਾਣਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਵੀ ਰੋਕ ਲਾਈ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਏਅਰਲਾਈਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
Following a recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, tensions have escalated between nuclear-armed neighbours India and Pakistan. In response to the worsening situation, several international airlines, including Germany’s Lufthansa and France’s Air France, have begun rerouting their flights to avoid Pakistani airspace.
According to a Lufthansa spokesperson speaking to Reuters, the airline has decided to steer clear of Pakistan airspace “until further notice.” This rerouting could result in extended flight times across certain Asia-bound routes. Data from the flight tracking website FlightRadar24 confirmed that Lufthansa’s flight LH760 from Frankfurt to New Delhi took nearly an hour longer than usual on Sunday.
Other airlines, including British Airways, Emirates, and Swiss International Air Lines, are also adjusting their routes by flying south over the Arabian Sea before turning north towards Delhi to bypass Pakistani airspace.
India has taken reciprocal measures, restricting Pakistani aircraft from its airspace and suspending trade and visas for Pakistani nationals. While Pakistan continues to allow international airlines to use its airspace, it has imposed restrictions on Indian aircraft.
