ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਉਡਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ 'ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਫਲਾਈਟ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਚੈੱਕਅਪ' ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਦੇ ਸਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਲਕੋਹਲ ਦੀ ਮਾਤਰਾ ਪਾਈ ਗਈ। ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ, ਪਾਇਲਟਾਂ ਲਈ ਉਡਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦਾ ਸੇਵਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮਨ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਇਹ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਉਡਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਅਸਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਮਾਸੂਮ ਜਿੰਦਗੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਤਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਯਮ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਉਸ ਮਾਨਵੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਇਲਟ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੁਸਾਫ਼ਰਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
