ਆਪ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਰਮਨ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਮਾਮਲੇ 'ਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ
ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਰਮਨ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੂੰ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਨਕਲੀ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤ ਲੈਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹਨ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਨੀਤੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਹੈ।
ਜਲੰਧਰ ਸੈਂਟਰਲ ਤੋਂ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਰਮਨ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਜੀਲੈਂਸ ਬਿਊਰੋ ਨੇ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਅਸਿਸਟੈਂਟ ਟਾਊਨ ਪਲਾਨਰ ਸੁਖਦੇਵ ਵਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਟ ਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੋਈ, ਜਿਸ 'ਤੇ ਨਕਲੀ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤ ਲੈਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹਨ। ਵਿਜੀਲੈਂਸ ਨੇ ਰਮਨ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਦੇ ਘਰ 'ਤੇ ਛਾਪਾ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲਗਭਗ 8 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ। ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੇ ਵਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਟ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਰੀਏ ਨਕਲੀ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੈਸੇ ਲਏ। ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਚਾਰ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਨੀਤੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
Raman Arora, the Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Jalandhar Central, has been arrested by the Punjab Vigilance Bureau in a corruption case. The arrest follows the earlier detention of former Assistant Town Planner Sukhdev Vashisht, who is accused of issuing fake notices and extorting money from citizens. The Vigilance Bureau conducted a raid at Arora's residence and, after approximately 8 hours of questioning, took him into custody. Allegations suggest that Arora collaborated with Vashisht to issue these fraudulent notices and collect bribes. The investigation is ongoing to determine Arora's role in the matter. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated that the government maintains a strict policy against corruption and no one will be spared.
