ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਜੰਗ: 471 ਥਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ, 97 ਤਸਕਰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ 'ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ' ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੇ 48ਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ 471 ਥਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ 97 ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ, 40.9 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਡਰੱਗ ਮਨੀ, 261 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ, 699 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਅਫੀਮ ਅਤੇ 1,997 ਨਸ਼ੀਲੀਆਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਕੈਪਸੂਲ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ 60 ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ 6 ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਛੁਡਾਊ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ Radio Haanji ਨੇ ਵੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਸ਼ੁਕਲਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ 1,200 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ 150 ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ 502 ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਤਲਾਸ਼ੀ ਲਈ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ। 97 ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, 60 ਪੁਲੀਸ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, 6 ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਛੁਡਾਊ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਵਸੇਬਾ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ 750 ਥਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ 1,436 ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ 1,035 ਕਿਲੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ, ਅਫੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।
On the 48th day of the ongoing 'War Against Drugs' campaign, the Punjab Police conducted raids at 471 locations across the state, resulting in the arrest of 97 drug smugglers. During these operations, authorities seized ₹4.09 million in drug money, 261 grams of heroin, 699 grams of opium, and 1,997 intoxicant tablets and capsules. This information was provided by Special DGP (Law and Order) Arpit Shukla.
Shukla mentioned that over 1,200 police personnel formed 150 teams to search 502 suspicious individuals. Alongside the arrests, 60 police cases were registered. Additionally, six individuals were prepared to undergo treatment under the de-addiction and rehabilitation initiative.
Under this campaign, the Punjab government has been taking stringent actions against drug traffickers. In recent days, the police have conducted raids at 750 locations, arresting 1,436 individuals and seizing 1,035 kilograms of heroin, opium, and other narcotics.
