ਮਨੀ ਲਾਂਡਰਿੰਗ ਕੇਸ 'ਚ ਰੌਬਰਟ ਵਾਡਰਾ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਈਡੀ ਦੇ ਰਡਾਰ 'ਤੇ
ਰੌਬਰਟ ਵਾਡਰਾ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਵੀ ਮਨੀ ਲਾਂਡਰਿੰਗ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਈਡੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਹੋਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਰਗਾਓਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਡੀਲ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ 'ਤੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਏਜੰਸੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਦੁਰਵਰਤੋਂ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ। ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭੁਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਹੁੱਡਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੈ।
ਐਨਫੋਰਸਮੈਂਟ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟੋਰੇਟ (ED) ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਨੀ ਲਾਂਡਰਿੰਗ ਦੇ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀ ਰੌਬਰਟ ਵਾਡਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਵੀ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੀ। ਵਾਡਰਾ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਸਥਿਤ ਈਡੀ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੇਸ਼ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਿਆਨ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਉਹ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇੱਥੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਲਗਭਗ ਪੰਜ ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਿਯੰਕਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਵਾਡਰਾ ਵੀ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਤੱਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗਈ, ਪਰ ਵਾਡਰਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਹੀ ਗਏ। ਪੁੱਛਗਿੱਛ ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਈਡੀ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਵੇਂਸ਼ਨ ਆਫ ਮਨੀ ਲਾਂਡਰਿੰਗ ਐਕਟ (PMLA) ਤਹਿਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ।
ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ 2008 ਵਿੱਚ ਰੌਬਰਟ ਵਾਡਰਾ ਦੀ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗੁਰਗਾਓਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਿਕੋਹਪੁਰ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਓਮਕਾਰੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਰਟੀਜ਼ ਤੋਂ 3.5 ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਖਰੀਦਣ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਪਲਾਟ 7.5 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਥੋੜੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੀਅਲ ਅਸਟੇਟ ਜਾਇੰਟ ਡੀਐਲਐਫ (DLF) ਨੂੰ 58 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੇਚ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਇਹ ਡੀਲ ਤਦ ਹੋਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭੁਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਹੁੱਡਾ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਕੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਂਜ਼ਮਦ ਹਨ। ਵਾਡਰਾ ਨੇ ਈਡੀ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਬਦਲਾਖੋਰੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਈਡੀ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਏਜੰਸੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਗ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਵਾਡਰਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਚੁੱਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਟਾਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਹਰ ਵਾਰੀ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਪਿਛਲੇ 20 ਸਾਲਾਂ 'ਚ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ।"
ਇਹ ਹਮਲਾ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਰੌਬਰਟ ਵਾਡਰਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇਹ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਹੈ।
Robert Vadra, businessman and son-in-law of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for the second consecutive day in connection with a money laundering case linked to a land deal in Gurugram, Haryana. His wife and Congress MP from Wayanad, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, accompanied him to the ED office in Delhi, although he went inside alone.
According to sources, Vadra was questioned under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) about his company’s 2008 purchase of a 3.5-acre plot in Shikohpur, Gurugram, from Omkareshwar Properties for ₹7.5 crore. The same land was later sold to real estate giant DLF for ₹58 crore. The probe focuses on whether undue benefits were given in this transaction and if any illegal financial gains were involved.
Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has also been named in the case, as the deal happened during his tenure. Vadra has strongly denied all allegations, calling the investigation politically motivated and accusing the BJP of misusing agencies like the ED to suppress opposition voices.
He said, “Whenever I speak for the people, they try to silence me. I have always cooperated and will continue to do so. Nothing has come out in 20 years. We are ready for anything.”
The case is part of a broader investigation where the ED is looking into various suspicious land deals across Haryana and Rajasthan linked to political figures.
