ਜਗਰਾਓਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਪੋਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਰਹੂਮ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਾਇਕ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦੀ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਭੋਗ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕ ਅਤੇ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਹਸਤੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਈਆਂ। ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਦੀ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਜਗਤ ਸਦਮੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
ਜਗਰਾਓਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਪੋਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ ਮਰਹੂਮ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਾਇਕ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦੀ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਭੋਗ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕ, ਦੋਸਤ, ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਹਸਤੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਈਆਂ। ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦੀ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬੱਦੀ/ਪਿੰਜੌਰ ਨੇੜੇ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਮੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਭੋਗ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜ ਸਭਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਵਿਕਰਮਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਨੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਖੇਤੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੁੱਡੀਆਂ, ਮਰਹੂਮ ਦੀਪ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੱਧੂ, ਅਮਰੀਕ ਅਲੀਵਾਲ, ਲੱਖਾ ਸਿਧਾਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਨਮੋਨ ਕਵਾਤੜਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਈ ਹੋਰ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਹਸਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਜਗਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਾਮਵਰ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਕੁਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਬਿੱਲਾ, ਕੰਵਰ ਗਰੇਵਾਲ, ਜਸਵੀਰ ਜੱਸੀ, ਹਰਭਜਨ ਮਾਨ, ਗੁਰਦਾਸ ਮਾਨ, ਐਮੀ ਵਿਰਕ, ਰਣਜੀਤ ਬਾਵਾ, ਸਤਿੰਦਰ ਸੱਤੀ, ਜੱਸ ਬਾਜਵਾ, ਪੂਰਨ ਚੰਦ ਵਡਾਲੀ, ਗੀਤਕਾਰ ਬਾਬੂ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ, ਗਗਨ ਕੋਕਰੀ, ਰਣਜੀਤ ਮਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਵਿੰਦਰ ਬਿੱਟੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀਆਂ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ।
ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਮਨੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਪਾਠ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਭਚਿੰਤਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੀੜ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਸੁਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੰਗੀਤਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀਆਈਪੀਜ਼ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਿੰਡ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਰਾਜਵੀਰ ਜਵੰਦਾ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਮ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਦੱਸਿਆ।
In the village of Pona in Jagraon, the final prayer and bhog ceremony of deceased Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda was held today. A large number of fans, friends, family members, and prominent figures from Punjab attended the ceremony. Rajvir Jawanda passed away a few days ago in a tragic road accident near Baddi/Pinjore, leaving the Punjabi music industry in shock.
The bhog ceremony saw the presence of notable figures such as Rajya Sabha member Vikramjit Singh Sahni, Punjab’s Agriculture Minister Gurmeet Singh Khuddian, Mandeep Sidhu (brother of the late Deep Sidhu), Amrik Aliwal, Lakha Sidhana, and Anmon Kawatra, along with other political and social personalities. Prominent Punjabi music industry figures, including Kulwinder Billa, Kanwar Grewal, Jasvir Jassi, Harbhajan Mann, Gurdas Maan, Ammy Virk, Ranjit Bawa, Satinder Satti, Jass Bajwa, Poonam Chand Wadali, lyricist Babu Singh Maan, Gagan Kokri, Ranjit Mani, and Satwinder Bitti, also paid their tributes to Rajvir.
During the ceremony, prayers and Sukhmani Sahib path were conducted at the local gurdwara. A large crowd of fans and well-wishers listened to Rajvir’s songs and remembered his musical contributions. Due to the presence of VIPs, stringent security arrangements were made in the village and at the ceremony venue. Rajvir Jawanda’s fans also paid tributes on social media, describing his songs as an integral part of Punjabi music.
