ਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਵਾਰਿਸ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕੂੜਾ ਗੱਡੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਲਿਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਮਿਊਂਸੀਪਲ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੂੰ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਮੰਗੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਅਗਲੀ ਸੁਣਵਾਈ 27 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2026 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਮਿਊਂਸੀਪਲ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਦੇ ਸਿਵਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਲਾਵਾਰਿਸ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਸੰਸਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਮਿਊਂਸੀਪਲ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਕੂੜਾ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਡੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਵੀਡੀਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੂੜੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਡੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਰੁਟੀਨ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋਸ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਦੀ ਬੇਇੱਜ਼ਤੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਚੇਅਰਪਰਸਨ ਜਸਟਿਸ ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਗੁਰਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਮਿਊਂਸੀਪਲ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਅਕਸ਼ਿਤਾ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਤ੍ਰਿਤ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਗਲੀ ਸੁਣਵਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹਫ਼ਤਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਹੈ। ਅਗਲੀ ਸੁਣਵਾਈ 27 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2026 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕੂੜਾ ਗੱਡੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਜਾਣਾ ਇੱਕ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਜਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁੱਖ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਹੈ। ਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਮਿਊਂਸੀਪਲ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਅਕਸ਼ਿਤਾ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਲਾਪਰਵਾਹੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉਚਿਤ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਨਾਲ ਫਗਵਾੜਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਿਊਂਸੀਪਲ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੋਣ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਨੇ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਲਾਵਾਰਿਸ ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੂੜਾ ਗੱਡੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਜਾਣਾ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲੀ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਨਾ ਵਾਪਰਨ। ਇਸ ਲਾਵਾਰਿਸ ਲਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕੂੜਾ ਗੱਡੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਨੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਭਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ।
An unclaimed body was transported from Phagwara Civil Hospital to the crematorium in a municipal corporation garbage collection truck. They have been asked to submit detailed reports at least one week before the next hearing on January 27, 2026.
