ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਕਸਬਾ ਫਤਿਹਬਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਹਮਲਾਵਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੁਕਾਨਦਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਫਿਰੌਤੀ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਦੁਕਾਨ 'ਤੇ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਹਮਲਾਵਰ ਵਾਰਦਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਫ਼ਰਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਵਪਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤ ਪਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ

ਦੁਕਾਨਦਾਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਫੋਨ 'ਤੇ ਧਮਕੀਆਂ ਮਿਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਫਿਰੌਤੀ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਘਟਨਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਖੋਲ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਸੀਸੀਟੀਵੀ (CCTV) ਕੈਮਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਫੁਟੇਜ ਖੰਗਾਲੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਾਰਦਾਤ ਨੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਕ ਸਾਂਝ ਦੇ ਮਾਹੌਲ 'ਤੇ ਵੀ ਸਵਾਲ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।
ਵਪਾਰਕ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਲਦੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਣਪਛਾਤੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਧਾਰਾ 307 ਅਤੇ ਅਸਲਾ ਐਕਟ ਤਹਿਤ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਫਿਰੌਤੀ ਮੰਗਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੰਬਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਹ ਪਤਾ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
Criminals seem to be gaining confidence in Fatehabad, a town near Amritsar. A local shopkeeper was targeted after he reportedly refused to pay a ransom. According to information, some unidentified motorcycle-borne youths reached the shop and opened fire indiscriminately. Trade organizations have strongly condemned the incident and demanded the immediate arrest of the culprits by the police administration. Police officials stated that a case under Section 307 and the Arms Act has been registered against unidentified individuals.
