ਰਮਦਾਸ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰੋਪਾ: ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ
ਰਮਦਾਸ ਦੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਾਬਾ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਆਗੂ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰੋਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਖਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੀ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤ ਅਤੇ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੇਸ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਆਗੂ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਾਬਾ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ, ਰਮਦਾਸ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਿਰੋਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਚਰਚਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ (ਐਸਜੀਪੀਸੀ) ਨੇ ਸਖਤ ਨੋਟਿਸ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਐਸਜੀਪੀਸੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਾਮੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਸਖਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰੋਪਾ ਦੇਣ ’ਤੇ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਿਰੋਪਾ ਸਿਰਫ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤਾਂ, ਰਾਗੀ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਮਹਾਨ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਲਈ ਐਸਜੀਪੀਸੀ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਧਾਮੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ, ਜੋ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਆਗੂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਹਨ, ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰੋਪਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੇਸ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 1984 ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਨਸਲਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਭੁੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕੀ।
ਐਸਜੀਪੀਸੀ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਜਥੇਦਾਰ ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੁੱਲੇਵਾਲ ਰਾਠਾਂ, ਭਾਈ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਮਾਸਟਰ ਮਿੱਠੂ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਾਹਨੇਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਲਕੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੰਗਾਲ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ’ਤੇ ਸਖਤ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ ਜਤਾਇਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰੋਪਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਖਮਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਨਮਕ ਛਿੜਕਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ 1984 ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਨਸਲਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਕਾਲ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ’ਤੇ ਹਮਲੇ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਸਿਰੋਪਾ ਕਿਸ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।
ਕੁਝ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਿਰੋਪਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਏਕਤਾ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਐਸਜੀਪੀਸੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੇਸ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
The incident of presenting a siropa to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at Gurdwara Baba Buddha Sahib in Ramdas has sparked controversy. The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has taken strict notice of the matter, with its president, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, ordering an investigation and warning of strict action against those found guilty. Dhami clarified that, as per SGPC’s previous decisions, presenting a siropa to political figures in gurdwaras is prohibited, and this honor is reserved solely for religious personalities, ragi Singhs, and prominent Sikh figures.
The SGPC has directed the preparation of a detailed report on the incident, which is expected to be completed soon. Dhami stated that presenting a siropa to Rahul Gandhi, a key Congress leader and member of the Gandhi family, is deeply hurtful to the Sikh community’s sentiments, given the Congress party’s role in the 1984 Sikh genocide.
Several SGPC members, including Jathedar Surinder Singh Bhullewal Rathan, Bhai Manjit Singh, Master Mithu Singh Kahneke, and Malkit Singh Changal, have strongly objected to the incident. They stated that presenting a siropa to Rahul Gandhi is like rubbing salt on the wounds of the Sikh community. They accused the Gandhi family of being responsible for the 1984 Sikh genocide and the attack on Sri Akal Takht Sahib. They demanded clarity on who authorized the siropa and called for a thorough investigation.
Some sections of the Sikh community believe this incident may be part of a political agenda to foster unity. SGPC members emphasized that such actions hurt the sentiments of the Sikh community and are unacceptable under any circumstances.
