On Wednesday, September 18, the Governor of Victoria, Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, visited the Sikh Volunteers Australia (SVA) site in Langwarrin to commemorate the organisation’s 10th anniversary. The visit marked a significant recognition of SVA’s dedicated service to the community, particularly during times of crisis such as bushfires and floods. Her Excellency met with the volunteers and toured the facility, which includes a new kitchen set to be inaugurated on September 29. The Governor’s visit highlighted SVA's ongoing commitment to selfless service and community support.
