ਕਜ਼ਾਖਸਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਰੈਵਲ ਏਜੰਟ ਦੀ ਠੱਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਫਸੇ ਅੱਠ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਅੱਠ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਟਰੈਵਲ ਏਜੰਟ ਦੀ ਠੱਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਜ਼ਾਖਸਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਪਰ ਅਣਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰੀ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਰਫ਼ੀਲੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਮਦਦ ਮੰਗੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਤੇ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਭਾਜਪਾ ਆਗੂ ਅਜੈਵੀਰ ਲਾਲਪੁਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਲਈ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਅੱਠ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਕਥਿਤ ਟਰੈਵਲ ਏਜੰਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਠੱਗੀ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਕਜ਼ਾਖਸਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇੱਕ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਟਰੈਵਲ ਏਜੰਟ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਜ਼ਾਖਸਤਾਨ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਤੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਡਰਾਈਵਰ ਦੀ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਉਥੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਣਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਜ਼ਾਖਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਬਰਫ਼ ਨਾਲ ਢੱਕੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇੱਕ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਤੇ ਵਾਇਰਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਇਹ ਕਜ਼ਾਖਸਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਹਨ। ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਕੜੀ ਠੰਢ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉੱਪਰੋਂ ਭੁੱਖਮਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਰਾ ਸਲੂਕ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੰਮੀਆਂ ਦੂਰੀਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਭਾਰੀ ਬੋਝ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਸਰ ਤੰਗ ਧਾਤ ਵਾਲੇ ਡੱਬਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਖਾਣੇ ਜਾਂ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਤੰਗੀ ਦਾ ਪਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਦੋਂ ਨੰਗਲ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਜੈਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਲਾਲਪੁਰਾ ਨਾਲ ਫ਼ੋਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਲਈ। ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਵੁਕ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਦਦ ਦੀ ਭਿਖਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਕਜ਼ਾਖਸਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਹਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ, ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਟਰੈਵਲ ਏਜੰਟ ਨੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਵਾਅਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੱਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਘਟਨਾ ਤੇ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਅਜੈਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਲਾਲਪੁਰਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਅੱਠ ਲੋਕ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਠੀਕ ਖਾਣੇ, ਆਰਾਮ ਜਾਂ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਛੋਟੇ ਡੱਬਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਰਮਨਾਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਜੋ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਲਈ ਜਾਣੇ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅੱਜ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।" ਲਾਲਪੁਰਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਉਠਾਉਣਗੇ। ਸੂਤਰਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਫਸੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪੇ-ਪਿਤੇ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਟਰੈਵਲ ਏਜੰਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਠੱਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
Eight young men from Punjab, most of whom are connected to Rupnagar district, have become victims of an alleged scam by travel agents and are stranded in Kazakhstan. A local travel agent had promised these youths good-paying driver jobs upon reaching Kazakhstan. However, after arriving there, they were forced to do hard labor under inhumane conditions. These youths have released a video of themselves working as laborers in snow-covered areas of Kazakhstan, which has gone viral on social media.
According to the information received, these Punjabi youths stranded in Kazakhstan are in great distress. On one hand, there is severe cold, and on top of that, hunger and ill-treatment. They are forced to carry heavy loads over long distances in hilly areas and often have to live in cramped metal containers without food or basic safety.
The harassment faced by these youths came to light when one of the victims from Nangal, Harvinder Singh, managed to contact BJP's Rupnagar district president Ajayvir Singh Lalpura over the phone. In an emotional conversation, Harvinder described the serious difficulties he and his companions were facing and pleaded for help. The Punjabi youths stranded in Kazakhstan include Manjeet Singh, Amrjeet Singh, Hardeep Singh, Avatar Singh, and Harvinder Singh. The victims accuse a local travel agent of duping them with promises of jobs abroad and a good life.
Expressing deep concern over this incident, Ajayvir Singh Lalpura said, "Eight people are living in small containers without proper food, rest, or safety. It is truly shameful that the sons of the sacred land of Anandpur Sahib, known for their courage and sacrifice, are today facing humiliation and exploitation on foreign soil." Lalpura said that he will raise this issue with central officials to ensure the safe return of these youths. According to sources, the parents of the stranded youths have also met Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains and requested assistance in bringing their children back to India. This incident highlights the travel agent fraud in Punjab for foreign jobs and the exploitation of youths.
