ਸਾਬਕਾ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਨੇਤਾ ਅਨਿਲ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ
ਸਾਬਕਾ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਨੇਤਾ ਅਨਿਲ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਭੂਪੇਸ਼ ਬਗੇਲ, ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹ 2021 ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਲਈ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਾਲੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਜਦਕਿ ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਬਾਈ-ਇਲੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟਿਕਟ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਰਚਾਵਾਂ ਵੀ ਹਨ। ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਵਧੇਗਾ।
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਸਿਆਸਤਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਨਿਲ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਅੱਜ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਭੂਪੇਸ਼ ਬਗੇਲ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਸਮੇਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਅਨਿਲ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਅਨਿਲ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੇਤਾ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਕੇ.ਸੀ. ਵੇਣੂਗੋਪਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਿਆਸੀ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਜ਼ਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਨਿਲ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਲੰਬਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਲਈ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ 2021 ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਨੀਤੀ ਦੀ ਆਲੋਚਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਾਲ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਉਪਾਧਿਆਇਕ ਬਣੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 2022 ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਅਤੇ 2024 ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਟਿਕਟ ਤੇ ਲੜੀਆਂ ਪਰ ਹਾਰ ਗਏ। ਨਵੰਬਰ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਅਨਿਲ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਸੰਘਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮਾਝੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਰਐਸਐਸ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਜੁੜੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਤਿੱਖੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕੇ ਤੋਂ 2007 ਅਤੇ 2012 ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਟਿਕਟ ਤੇ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਅਕਾਲੀ-ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਲ ਬੌਡੀਜ਼, ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਖੋਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਰਹੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ "ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪੁਰਸ਼" ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਨੋਟਡ ਸਿਵਲ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਐਕਟੀਵਿਸਟ ਡੀਪਕ ਲੰਬਾ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਅੱਜ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਨਿਲ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਵਰਗੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਆਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਨੇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਪ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਥੱਕ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲਈ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਹੋਰ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾ ਬਲਕਿ ਸਿਵਲ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ, ਬੁੱਧੀਜੀਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਵੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵੱਲ ਵੇਰ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਅਨਿਲ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਬਾਈ-ਇਲੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਚਰਚਾਵਾਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਟਿਕਟ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡਾ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਵਜੋਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
Senior politician and former minister from Punjab, Anil Joshi, joined the Congress today. He was inducted into the party in Chandigarh by Punjab Congress in-charge Bhupesh Baghel, Punjab Congress president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, and Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa, along with a large number of leaders. Anil Joshi said that he wants to work for the development of Punjab and in the current situation, only Congress can take Punjab forward. In November 2024, he also resigned from the Akali Dal. Anil Joshi is associated with Sangha village in Tarn Taran district and has a big name in the Hindu community in Punjab's Majha region. He has also been associated with RSS and is known as a sharp, outspoken leader. He won from Amritsar North assembly constituency in 2007 and 2012 on a BJP ticket and served as minister for local bodies, medical education, and research in the previous Akali-BJP government. He is also called "Vikas Purush" because of his significant development work in Amritsar North. In addition, noted civil society activist Deepak Lamba also joined the Congress today. Punjab Congress president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring said that the joining of a big leader like Anil Joshi will strengthen the party and benefit from the anger among people against the AAP government. Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa said that the people of Punjab are tired of the AAP government and are waiting to bring back Congress. He added that not only leaders from other parties but also civil society members, intellectuals, and thought leaders are turning towards Congress with great hope and expectations. With Anil Joshi joining Congress, discussions have also started for the Tarn Taran assembly by-election that he might get the ticket there. This decision is being seen as a major change in Punjab politics.
