President Donald Trump has expressed seriousness about the possibility of making Canada the 51st state of America. He made this statement in a recent interview, highlighting that such a move could be beneficial for both America and Canada.
Speaking to Fox News, Trump stated, "Making Canada the 51st state could bring economic benefits to both nations. America faces a trade loss of $200 billion annually with Canada, which must be reduced."
Additionally, he directed the U.S. Treasury Department to stop producing the one-cent coin, citing that the cost of production is not economically viable.
